We don't have rehearsal this morning, so Young Mi and I decide to go get ourselves a mid-morning coffee.
"You want to call a car or should I?" I ask her.
"I've got it," she pulls out her phone.
Thank god. I really didn't want to do it...
"So how are things with blondie?" Young Mi puts her hands on mine happily once we get in the car and tell the driver where to go.
I feel my face heat up from embarrassment, "Uhm... It's fine..."
"Did you text him yet?" she casually unzips her jacket, showing off a tight black tube top with a white skull on it. (Which she definitely isn't allowed to wear out in public.)
"Yeah. I did," I nod, trying to look nonchalant, "I'm going to meet him at the gym later. Around 2."
"Remember, we have the fitting tonight."
Yes! Finally our stage outfits! I can't forget this one...
"It's at 6, right?"
"Mhm," she holds her phone out in front of her to take a selfie.
Good lord, she's so flawlessly pretty...
"Well, let me know how your DATE goes," she puts her phone down and smiles at me.
"It's not a date," I sigh and look out the window at the grey clouds covering the sky. I hear Young Mi's phone buzzing over and over and turn to her.
She notices me staring and rolls he eyes, "I got put in a group chat..."
I wonder with who...
I nod understandingly and watch her type something out with a sigh.
How does she do everything so gracefully with those long nails...
We get out at a coffee shop and order, taking a seat at a little round table near the back. My phone buzzes against the smooth marble top.

Good morning.

Did you just wake up?

Haha, yeah. I was tired.
Min:
I was too but Young Mi wanted to go get coffee somewhere, so I came with her.
Hyunjin:
Oh, that sounds fun!
Min:
Yeah.
Hyunjin:
Are you ready for later?
Min:
Yeah, I guess so.
I'm still nervous, but I'm glad you're there to help me not look awkward.
Hyunjin:
Are you saying I look awkward?
Min:
What?
No of course not!
That's not what I meant!
Hyunjin:
Relax, I'm just teasing haha
