I go back out into the living area and sit down next to Hyunjin, who quickly smiles and puts his arm around me.

I pull out my phone and open my notes app to talk to him silently. As I start to type, Hyunjin suddenly jumps and grabs me, burying his face into my shoulder.

I look up at the screen.

I guess he doesn't like scary movies...

"Are you ok?" I lean down and whisper to him. He nods, but doesn't look back up at the TV. I put my phone back down and pet his hair gently.

David walks back in and sits down beside me. He gives me and Hyunjin a suspicious look, then gasps with a smile and points at me excitedly. I nod then silently shush him and he covers his mouth and faces forward.

Hyunjin looks back up at the screen, but with his head still resting on my shoulder. He gets scared a few times and hides his face behind me throughout the movie.

I feel kinda bad for finding this cute, but I can't help it...

After the film is over, everyone is just talking and hanging out. Chan and David seem to be getting along great. It's fun watching them talk about random video games and stuff they have in common, being around the same age and stuff.

"Anyone want something to eat?" says Jeongin, heading towards the kitchen.

"We just had popcorn," Minho (who ate most of the said popcorn) says.

"Well, it wasn't much," I shrug at him.

Jeongin nods, "Exactly! I say we whip up something before heading to bed." Everyone mutters in agreement. David and Felix are accepted to help, but when Hyunjin and I start to join them:

"Nuh-uh-uh! No. You two are dangerous," Felix holds his arms out to stop us.

"What?" Hyunjin replies.

"You've never even seen me cook!" I throw up my hands.

"Yeah, but I've heard enough horror stories about your cooking from the girls," he laughs, then turns to Hyunjin, "And I know from experience that you don't know your way around a kitchen." I chuckle to myself, remembering the curry incident from my first week here when Hyunjin overestimated how much rice to cook.

"Fine," he sighs dramatically.

"Hey, I trust David, but how do I know that you two aren't dangerous to let cook?" I tease them.

"Oi, are you forgetting that I'm a five star Michelin?" Felix laughs.

"Yeah, because 'God's Menu' is definitely about cooking," I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Either way, the title fits," he playfully bites his lip and winks at me.

O-oh...

I feel myself blush as the whole room fills with mixed laughter. Even though I know he's joking, his response still shocked me.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," I laugh him off and join Hyunjin back on the couch.

"'God's Menu' isn't about cooking?" I hear Seungmin whisper to Jisung. Chan pats him on the shoulder and tells him not to worry about it.

A few minutes later, I hear Jeongin call from behind us and turn around, "Hey, Min? Do you like onion?"

David answers before I can, "No, she doesn't. Never has." He smiles to himself.

"What are you smiling at?" I stand up from the couch and sit down at one of the bar stools at the counter.

"I just remembered that one time when we were kids that you thought the purple onions would taste different than normal ones and you took a big bite straight out of one like an apple," he laughs, "God, your face was so red."
