Uh oh.

The darkness obscured his figure, and ultimately, his gun. There was no telling who he was pointing the gun at. Even a well-placed bullet can kill a demon.

Blu's mind was reeling. He was too afraid to move. Even if he did, Pico was good with a gun. He would never miss a shot this close, even in the dark.

Lynn didn't know Pico as well as Blu did, and they made eye contact with Blu before leaping at Pico with their claws spread outwards. They were fast, keeping low to the ground and digging their claws into Pico's stomach.

There was a lot of noise. Pico flailed, kneeling Lynn in the chest. Their fingers dug deep into his flesh with their claws fully inwards. The gun fired, sparks flew into the darkness. Blu stood up and smashed his skull against Pico's, trying to daze him again so Lynn could get to safety.

Blu's ram horns grazed both of the ginger's freckled jawline, slicing quite a freaky cut on his cheeks. There were more rounds fired from the gun, and Blu felt something unbearably hot sear his forehead, but he kept his composure.

Lynn grabbed Pico's hands, directing his line of fire to the roof. The ceiling would definitely have more than one bullet hole in it. Lynn snatched the gun from Pico's grasp after Blu tackled him to the floor.

Blu had him pinned with both Pico's arms above his head and was sitting on his muscular chest. Blu's tail wrapped around his legs, leaving Pico breathless and unable to struggle. In any other context, it might very much be quite a suggestive stance, but it was the only thing keeping lead out of anyone's head.

All three of them were panting. Blood covered the floor, both red and black liquid blended together. The rain stopped, but the lighting continued to flash. The living room looked like a murder scene.

Out of all of them, Pico was in shambles and with the most injuries. His breathing was ragged and was wheezing with each inhale. His jaw quivered, and his white pupils were shaking.

"Pico? Are you there?" Blu wheezed, also feeling winded. Lynn was the least injured and was already sitting cross-legged next to them. They looked guilty, holding their bloodied hands away from their body.

Pico blinked, groaning and clacking his teeth. Sweat dripped down his head as his eyes began to focus on Blu's face.

"H- hey..." He gasped, trying to ignore the pain from his abdomen. Blu was considering letting go of Pico, but decided to play it safe, however weird their position was.

For the next few minutes, Blu remained on top of Pico, continuing to restrict his movements. He didn't protest, either from exhaustion or embarrassment.

Lynn limped to the cabinets to collect medical supplies such as bandages. Pico was capable of taking care of all of them, but his abdomen was quite torn up.

While waiting for Lynn to return, Pico noticed something drip onto his chin from above. It felt warm. It was too dark to see the source of what he believed to be blood. He only saw a soft blue glow from above.

"Blu... your head..?" Pico inquired, feeling nervous. He didn't remember how or why he was in this predicament, but his friends could be in some serious danger.

Blu felt safe enough to remove his hands from Pico's arms. He seemed to have calmed down from his trance. He should be fine to move around a bit.

Blu lifted his palm to his head, surprised by how wet it was. How much was he sweating? He had a headache. Maybe that had something to do with it?

Something flickered. Oh, was that lamp on? Was the electricity back? Well, considering he could see everything again, perhaps it was.

To his utter astonishment, Pico began screaming and pushed Blu off his chest. He had never, EVER, heard Pico scream. What's happening? Was he going back into a trance?
