Part I "That's the guy who works at the DVD store. He... he saw the whole thing. Look, he... he could have stopped all this, he could have testified," Liam said and everyone looked at him. He could have testified... why didn't he? Why... didn't he?" Liam said before he started trailing off. "Liam, are you ok?" Tracy asked him. "He could have... why didn't he..." Liam said before he fell and Tracy, Mike and Gina all rushed to catch him. "Liam!" "Liam! Get him!" Tracy shouted, but Liam fell between their grasp and into the wall. "Liam," Mike said and they knelt beside him. He had fallen so that he was sitting on the ground and his head was resting against the wall. "Liam, can you hear us?" "Liam?" "Liam, wake up." "Tracy?" Mike asked as she took Liam's pulse. "He's alright, he's just fainted." "Let's move him to the quiet room. Out of the office." "Good idea," Mike said and he picked Liam up.

"What's going on?" "Is that Liam?" Tee and Johnny asked as they saw Mike, Gina, Tracy and Frank moving to the quiet room with Liam in Mike's arms. "Why's Mike carrying him?" "What's happened?" Elektra asked as she joined them. "Liam's unconscious?" "Liam?" "Mike's just carried him into the quiet room." "What?" Elektra asked and they made their way to the quiet room. Listening outside the door they heard: "Stay down Liam." "I feel sick." "That's normal after you pass out, alright babes," Gina said and Elektra started to laugh. "So he did pass out?" "Sounds like it." "...woah, easy Liam." "Yeah, maybe I won't do that." "It's a shock, we get it." "He could have stopped me going down. Why didn't he?" "We don't know yet." "He might have had reasons." "What reasons? Why would anyone let their brother be arrested?" "Jack let Liam be arrested?" "Why would someone do that to their brother?" "I don't know." "Maybe because it's Liam?" "Tee!" Johnny said and Gina opened the door. "Gina..." "Is Liam ok?" "Yeah, we were worried." "Did he really faint?" "Liam's doing fine. He had a shock, that's all." "His brother getting him arrested, you mean?" "No. Give him some space. Go. Go!" "Alright, alright," Elektra said and they left.

"Liam. Are you ok?" Tee asked as he joined everyone for lunch. "Yeah, I'm alright." "Is it true that you fainted?" "Gus." "It is. Look, my brother knows I'm innocent. He could have stood up for me, but he didn't." "He could have had his reasons." "Shut up Carmen." "Oi." "Sorry," Liam said as he sat down. "There's just a lot on my mind right now." "That's alright. Are you ok?" "Yeah, I'm alright Tee," Liam told her with a smile. They ate lunch, and Liam questioned Jack the following day.

Part II "Me? I want my family, and you're it," Jack told Liam. "Mum abandoned you too?" "She did. A long time ago. 15 years before she abandoned you. She couldn't cope with kids, but she wasn't a bad woman. Liam..." "Stop," Liam said as he walked to the table. "I know it's a lot to take in. But I want us to be together. Finally, we have each other rather than having none," Jack said but Liam was silent. "Liam?" "I feel sick." "Are you alright? Should I get Mike?" Jack asked, but Liam collapsed and Jack rushed to him. "Liam! I've got you mate. I've got you," Jack said as he knelt down and held Liam on his lap. "Liam, can you hear me?" Jack asked as he took his pulse. "Liam? I need some help in here!" Jack called and a police officer rushed in. "I think he's just passed out but..." "Alright Jack. Take some deep breaths," They said and Jack did so. "Good," They said and Mike rushed in. "Jack? Liam!" He called before he knelt beside them. "Is he ok?" "He's passed out." "Are you ok?" Mike asked as Jack was crying. "I don't know... I've only just found Liam in the same way that he's only just found me." "Of course." "His vitals and responses are normal. We'll get him somewhere quiet." "Alright," Jack said and he followed his fellow officer into a room with sofas. He lay Liam onto one of them and Mike left, knowing that Liam was in safe hands.

"Liam. It's Jack," Jack said as Liam woke up. "What happened?" "You fainted." "Oh." "You're alright. I've got water and food for you, but you can have them when you're feeling better." "Thanks." "Are you ok?" "Yeah, I'm fine. I need time to think." "I know. When you're feeling better, I'll call Mike and ask him to come and pick you up." "Thanks." "Take it easy," Jack said and Liam took his time coming round.
