After the whole heat thing, everything started to become a normal pace. Layla is always so busy between her Luna duties and the stuff she does for the counsel its like I never get to see her anymore. I feel like she is trying to hide something from me and I am determined to figure out what it is.
Layla P.O.V
Since my mate came back home from that meeting when I was on my heat I have been trying to stay busy because I'm hiding something from Xavier. A week after he came back I found out I was pregnant and now everybody but him knows about it because I want to surprise him. Tonight the pack is throwing a surprise party for him and at this party the beta is going to distract him when I go up to the stage and announce that I am pregnant with the next in line alpha because I'm having a boy.
Just as Xavier arrived I hid my scent and started to hide from him so the beta could go over and distract him. Once I thought they were in a decent conversation I grabbed a microphone and started to speak "some of you know what the point of this pack party was and some don't but that's okay, it was all meant to surprise Mr.Alpha and I hope he likes this surprise. So Mr.Alpha this is your mate talking and I have an announcement to make because your going to be a father and your going to have a son." After that was done I just started walking around waiting for him to come find me.
Xavier P.O.V
When I started to hear my little mates voice over the speakers I thought oh no she's up to no good. As soon as I heard her say your going to have a son I was on the hunt to find her somewhere in the crowd. I just hope her and my unborn child to be okay
