Layla P.O.V

Xavier hasn't talked to me since this morning and I'm starting to think this is all to much for him to handle.

Xavier P.O.V

I can't stop thinking about what my little mate told me this morning. She said if I didn't have a witch side in me somewhere that would mean we were false mates and when she said that I felt my heart drop. She then went but I could feel him that's why I made Kelly pull him out so we could figure out why he hasn't come out by himself yet. All of this seemed confusing to me so I just nodded wanting her to continue and she said your witch told us it was because we haven't marked each other yet and that if we don't before the baby is born then I will die during childbirth because our child is already so strong. After she told me that I didn't know what to do and I haven't talked to her since. Why haven't we marked each other. I don't know why but I have a feeling her heat is gonna come back because we haven't marked each other yet. I think she thinks I'm gonna reject her and I never would do that I love her and my unborn child.

Unknown P.O.V

She belongs to me princess of the whole werewolf species. I've been watching her since her parents died. I can't believe she mated with that mutt and now is pregnant with his pup. I enchanted her so she would forget to mark him. But I have a feeling she found out and is gonna make it right. I have to take her before this happens.

Layla P.O.V

My body is starting to figure out that we were never marked and I can feel my heat coming back. I'm not gonna dare to bother Xavier because I'm not sure how he feels right now. I go into our bedroom to strip down and lay in Xavier's scent, but before I could lay down I felt someone grab me and knock me out.

Xavier P.O.V

I go up to our bedroom to look for Layla when I smelled how strong her scent was and I knew it was starting again and that's not good for the baby so I start to rush and look for her but I can't find her anywhere, that's when I smelled the scent of a rogue. There was a rogue in my bedroom with my pregnant mate and now she's missing. I'm gonna kill whoever took her especially because she's in heat again.
