Layla P.O.V

After the party when he found out I was two months pregnant, he was mad at me for not telling him sooner. Since then I have been under full supervision. I'm not allowed to do anything by myself I'm barley allowed to use the bathroom by myself.  I understand he's trying to make sure the baby is gonna be okay but it's getting annoying.

Xavier P.O.V

I can tell that Layla is getting tired of me always being there but she carrying the next in line alpha and I need to make sure that he's gonna be okay. Right now she's in a meeting with the council, I guess they are furious that we haven't taken over as king and queen of werewolves, for some odd reason I'm not allowed in the meeting and that's frustrating because they are in my office. I decided to go hang out with my beta Matt, we were playing video games when Layla came in the room with the council members looking worried, instantly I got up and asked "what's wrong hunny". Layla looked at me and said "you haven't felt your powers yet have you" I was confused as to why that was worrying her but shook my head no anyways. Layla nodded and asked for beta Matt to leave the room said this was important. I looked at her and her dark brown hair suddenly turned bright gold. I looked at her shocked and thought what's happening are my mate and unborn child alright before I fainted.

Layla P.O.V

I looked down at my unconscious mate and sighed. Should have warned him ahead of time. The council looked at me and asked "can you feel his power ?" At that moment I started feeling for it because something could be very wrong if he doesn't get them soon. I felt a very small sliver of his powers and now I'm trying ,y hardest to pull them out but I'm not strong enough so I let me witch side take over and do it. In a matter of seconds Xavier's hair has turned bright gold and his eyes open to show the shiniest silver I have ever seen. "Who are you and why have you summoned me" he yells. My witch calmly responds "I'm Kelly your mate, I was getting worried when you didn't come out as soon as we mated" he looked confused and then goes "we aren't marked that's why I didn't come out and if we don't mark echo there soon you human will die during child birth because that baby is very powerful already, I'm gonna give control to my human now I love you already and my name is Mika by the way". In that moment I see Xavier's black hair and green eyes come back and he looks at me scared. "No need to be scared I'm just Layla's witch she wasn't strong enough to pull yours out so I needed to do it, anyways I'm gonna give Layla control back" I know I'm that moment my eyes have changed back but my hair is still gold and that makes him uneasy so I change it back " what was all that about" He asked. I looked at him and said "I have some important things to tell you".
