Xavier P.O.V

I was sitting in my office doing paperwork when I smelt this amazing scent of strawberries and coconut. I was attracted to it right away and started to follow it. The scent was going out side where the newly shifted are, I walked outside and saw a girl sparing with my beta and she actually pinned him. I knew that girl was my mate but I didn't know what to do so i just sat and watched as she spared with my beta, "very good Layla you have improved since we started, lets call it a day since you have other things around the house to be done" i saw her nod and walk into the house.

When Matt saw that I was sitting here he walked over. "who was that" I asked him he looked at me and said "dude that was Layla one of the orphans we have in the pack, one of the longer ones" I looked confused. He sighed and said "your mom was the one to really raise her, her parents died in a rouge attack years ago on her birthday so she stopped celebrating it after that and your mom respected that" I was shocked my mate is like broken. " Bro i got something to tell you " he frowned at me and said "what is it you sound serious" I nodded "she's my mate but dude i don't know what I'm gonna do" he gasped and looked scared, I growled and said " what is it" he looked down and said "she's leaving today to help train that pack thats failing, she'll be gone for awhile" I growled and frowned at the same time. After i processed it I wont be able to be with my mate, I got angry about it and stomped up to my room and wouldn't come down for the rest of the day.

Layla P.O.V

I could feel his eyes on my back while i was training. My mate, the alpha i don't know what I'm going to do he's not going to see want a broken mate. I decided to talk to him before I leave so I went to his office but he wasn't in there so I went to look for the beta surly he would know where my mate is. I found him sitting in the back yard relaxing " uh Beta Matt" he turned to me and smiled and said "yes Layla how may i help you" i looked down and said "I'd like to speak to Alpha Xavier but i dont know where he is" he chuckled "i knew you could tell he was your mate before you walked away hes in his room, you better hurry before he starts recking things" i giggled and then we heard a crash "looks like I'm a little late gotta go" he laughed and said "good luck".

I was outside his room when i heard another crash and thats when I decided to just walk in. He growled at the fact that someone just walked into his room but when he turned around and saw me I was pinned to the wall while he was taking in my scent to calm down. "You knew but walked away why" he asked me huskily which made me siver. "I-i didn't want to m-miss my trip b-but I was craving your t-touch" man I was stuttering, he smirked when he realized he caused it. He let me go and walked away and said "Do you still want to go ?" I sighed and said "yes but if you keep this ( I pulled out a bracelet ) on I will always return to you at night" he looked confused and said "how" so I told him the truth "It's an ability I have if i think of an object that a person i cared about would be wearing and I can go to them" he nodded and said "okay but only if I get a kiss right here" he said as he pointed to his lips. I blushed and jumped on him and he waisted no time to push me against the wall and start to kiss me senceless. I pulled away because if I didn't I would miss the cars to leave and he put me down and I left.
