First day (5

<Sorry I have been gone for a while, couldn’t find my motivation anywhere heh! I hope you enjoy this chapter!! I’ll do my best to upload the next one faster than I did with this one!>

Deku pov:

Luffy and I headed to UA earlier than the others. We had to go to Principal Nezu's office before we went to class to pick up Luffy's uniform and temporary hero license. I feel bad for the others though since Luffy ate all the food we had, and it actually still was not enough for him. We stopped on the way and he ate my wallet empty. I look at my empty wallet with a crooked smile. We walked outside again and he thanked me and said he would pay me back once he finds his crew. I smiled at him.

We continued walking and arrived at Principal Nezu's office. I knocked 3 times and the voice of our mouse Principal answered. 'Come in!' I went in and Luffy followed. He would've just walked straight in was it not for me to stop him. 'Good morning Principal!' I greeted 'Good morning to you too!' He said, looking at me. 'How was your first night?' He switched his sight to Luffy who was looking around the office. 'Ehhh it was fine, I prefer the Sunny though.' He answered while holding an object he found lying around. The bear mouse nodded his head and went to get something out of a shelf in his desk. 'I have your school uniform and hero license here, you can change in the bathroom around the corner, Midoriya will you lead him please?' He passed the clothes over to Luffy who accepted despite the annoyed look on his face. I went first to the bathroom and he followed.

'Do I really have to wear this?' He had put on his uniform, but it was very messy and the tie wasn't tied. He looked at me with annoyance but I told him he had to and showed him how to tie his tie, even though I had the feeling he was going to forget anyway. 'Are you ready Luffy? We should head to class now.' He groaned a bit but followed me soon after.

While walking I reminded Luffy if he was asked where he was from to say he was from Brazil. We nicked but looked like he wasn't paying attention at all. But before I could comment on it we already got to class. I went to sit while mr. Aizawa asked Luffy to introduce himself to the class since a lot of people don't know him yet. 'Class we have a new student. Please introduce yourself.' The black haired teacher said. 'I am Monkey D. Luffy.' The other black haired said. After that it was silent. Not another word said by the straw hat wearing man. Sweat drops started appearing at the heads of my classmates, myself included. 'Is that all? What is your age, quirk and where did you transfer from?' The tired man looked at the shorter man who was standing a few meters away from him. 'I am 19 years old, my quirk ehm-' Luffy put his hand on his chin. 'A quirk what was that again.' The raven then put his fist on his other hand like he finally knew what to say. Which was good since it would be a bit of a pain to explain why he didn't know what his quirk was or even worse if he said he didn't have one. 'Oh yeah I remember! A quirk like a power haha.' He smiled and put his hands on his cheeks and as he stretched them out he proudly said, 'I am a rubber man!!'

'Woahh so his quirk is rubber!' I heard my friend Uraraka say. 'That sure is an interesting quirk! I wonder if it's strong, ribbit.' The frog girl said after. 'I think it's lame.' The angry boy before me spoke. The voices around me went on for a few more seconds but soon stopped by the hand gesture of our teacher.

'This is taking a while so this will be the final thing asked to you before we get to training. Where did you transfer from.' The man put his hand down from his gesture before and put it in his pocket. 'Huh transfer? Hmmm yeah I think I heard that word before.' I knew it. He didn't pay attention to what I had said. Even though I said where he was from instead of transfer. Should I try to get his attention? I guess it is better than letting this play out. 'Luffy! He means where you are from!' I tried to  but it came out a bit harder than I wanted. 'Ah! I see!! I grew up in Windmill Village in the East-Blue!'

I face palmed. Ofcourse he didn't pay attention. 'Huhh I never heard of that.' A black haired girl with a ponytail said. 'Yeah me neither.' The blue haired with glasses said. 'Yeah it isn't a big village at all, shishishi!' The raven haired laughed it off and with confusion the topic was dropped. 'Okay that will do, now please put on your gym uniform you'll be doing one on one training against one another.

A few of us cheered while the others were looking a bit pale. We stood up and I helped Luffy get to the changing rooms where I gave him his gym uniform. 'Ehhh do I have to? I just put the other one on!' He complained. 'Yeah I am sorry, I didn't know we would train so early in the morning.' I put my hand on the back of my head. 'We'd better now, we don't want Mr. Aizawa to be mad!' I started changing in which Luffy followed soon after.

'Oh wow that is one nasty scar!' Kirishima who was changing next to Luffy said. 'Yeah now that you mention it I also wanted to ask about that yesterday!' His yellow haired friend added. Luffy looked up, but not with his usual facial expression. It felt different this time. 'Oh, this?' His right hand touched the big cross on his chest. He looked down and it was silent for a little while. 'Hey you two, you shouldn't ask about such personal stuff!' The man moving like a robot lectured the two. 'You're right! Sorry.' Kirishima bowed his head towards Luffy. 'Yeah, sorry man!' Kaminari also bowed his head. 'It is fine, it isn't important anyway!'

With that there wasn't another word said in the changing rooms. Luffy and I finished changing and I and the other led him to the training fields where our teacher and the girls were already waiting.

"You guys took too long, if this was a real villain attack there would've already been great damage." Our teacher stood there with his arms crossed over his chest.

We in response bowed our heads, all except Luffy that is. "Sorry sensei."

"We will now start our training. I have already divided you into partners based on strength and effectiveness from your quirk towards the other person." He handed a piece of paper over to the pink alien-like girl standing next to him on which the pairs stood. He then looked over to me and Luffy. "Midoriya you are paired up with Luffy, please explain to him the rules and what to do." I nodded and took Luffy to an empty part of the field where we could start our training.

I am excited to train with Luffy! "Yosh! So we will be sparring together?" He went and stood opposite me stretching, making himself ready. "We will! But let me explain some things first." He looked up and nodded.

"The first thing you'll have to know is that we shouldn't actually hit each other in this duel. The goal is to bring your opponent to a place where he is not able to make another move." I also prepared myself and stood in my usual fighting stance. ‘Ready when you are.’ The opposite replied in a grin. ‘Shishi! Come at me!’
