Dabi is not happy. Not at all. The task at hand wasn't even hard. The two fools Shigaraki sent with him will just be in his way. He continues walking through alleyways while trying to keep the swordsman and straw boy at bay, making his way towards the warehouse the small gang used as a base.

The trio continued walking as the passages got filthier and filthier. They were littered with trash bags, occasionally coming across one that had been searched through for food. Dabi already had low expectations for the gang, but Shigaraki still wanted him to verify if they were worth recruiting or not. Now, his workload just got bigger as he needed to evaluate both the gang and the two newcomers Twice brought in.

It wasn't looking good for the newcomers either. Dabi had hoped they might spice things up for the night. He has already lost count for how many times the straw boy picked up what looked like food and just ate it, and Dabi can't even fathom how the swordsman turned left while Dabi was obviously going right.

These people are absolute fools.

His original plan involves him sneaking into the warehouse the gang used and make some commotion. Then he would observe the way they handled the situation. It's an easy way to investigate if the gang is any good at taking orders, their teamwork and their covert skills. After observing the first three skills Dabi would come out and make the gang fight him. These members could never win against him, ofcourse. But he'll be able to see which ones are brave and which ones have decent fighting skills. This makes for five categories, orders, teamwork, covert, courage and combat abilities. If a member succeeds at convincing they fit in four of the five categories they will be recruited as a grunt of the LOV. If someone can show him all of the categories they will be a little higher than a grunt.

Now he just needs to modify his old plan a bit so that the two idiots can fit in it. He needs to test them for the same categories as the gang, the first one, orders, will be easy to test. He will give them a plan and they'll need to execute that. To test their stealth Dabi will make them sneak in without being seen or caught by the gang. He will test their teamwork by working together with him. It looks like they already know each other well, so if he throws himself into their little duet Dabi will see how well the two handle a stranger into the mix. He will observe their battle experience while fighting. Shouldn't be too hard. Lastly Dabi will test their courage by turning on them, if they haven't died before that point.

Dabi will probably make them cause the commotion he originally planned to do himself. That way the swordsman and strawboy will fight the gang for themselves first. Makes it even easier for Dabi to see their fighting abilities and quirks.

Now that Dabi is on that topic, he doesn't know yet what their quirks are. When he thinks about the swordsman he assumes it has something to do with his blades. Or, maybe... he could have a quirk similar to The hero killer Stain.

Dabi does not have an idea what the strawboy's quirk could be. He does have a lot of skin showing, maybe his quirk is related to skin.

They round another corner, the last one. Dabi now sees the, to his opinion, very stereotypical abandoned warehouse the small gang use as a base. Around the alleyway they are in now there are a few markings to show territory.

Dabi puts his hand up to show the two self-proclaimed pirates that they have arrived at their destination. He turns around to give the two-

When Dabi turns around he is met with one face, the smiling face of the strawboy. His swordsman friend is nowhere to be seen.
