"Did you see that!? She's doing it again! That sneaky little bit...-" Nati snapped angrily, trying to free herself from our grip.

"Calm down." Hailey said quietly, her nails digging into the arm she was holding, making Nati wince slightly. Immediately, she stopped struggling and stood still for a moment, then she turned to Hailey with a look of annoyance.

"You used your ability on me!" she accused, wrenching her arms away from our grip.

Hailey scoffed and crossed her arms. "You could go on, everyone's enjoying the show. She's enjoying the show."

That seemed to calm Nati down and she threw a look at Laylahni to see Hailey was right. She had a little smirk on her face as she twirled the ball on her forefinger. Skye and Jenni were both giving her death glares from the side which she ignored.

Coach Nicholson clapped his hands and hollered, "Alright everyone, back to your positions! Come on!"

There was a lot of murmuring as everyone went back to their positions. "I'm so gonna crush her if she throws it at my face again." Nati muttered, tying her hair up into a messy bun, her green eyes flashing.

It was P.E period, a period we shared with the seniors, and we were playing dodgeball. The seniors versus the juniors and it was very competitive. And for the past ten minutes since we started, Laylahni had been targeting Nati's face for some reason. And the coach was too biased to say anything.

"Where the hell is Gray anyway?" Derek asked, coming to stand beside me as he adjusted his black headband. I snuck a quick glance at him and looked away when his bright green eyes snapped to mine. I pursed my lips, sliding my hands into the pockets of the dark blue joggers, as I moved to the back in position.

"Who cares?" I heard Nati say.

The whistle was blown and the game resumed, igniting the excited atmosphere once more. I quickly picked up a ball, looking for who to aim at. There, I thought, and swung, aiming for her guts. I let out a satisfied smile as she staggered backwards due to the impact.

Coach Nicholson blew the whistle as he pointed, "Chloe, you're out!"

"Good job, Leo." Megan, my seatmate in maths class hooted as she ran past me to avoid a ball.

"Thanks." I replied, my eyes following her nimble form as she dodged. She was a tomboy through and through, with no ounce of girly features other than her face, voice and full chest which she desperately tried to cover.

"Look out!" a voice yelled, and a large body rammed into mine, sending us rolling over each other with me ending up on top and breathless.

I stared wide-eyed at Derek who mirrored my expression as we both turned red. His hands were wrapped around my waist, bordering near my behind, mine were on his chest, our legs were intertwined, our faces were mere inches apart, our position was...very suggestive.

I cleared my throat, with the hopes that I didn't crush him with my weight, and quickly moved to my feet.

"What was that for?" I asked coldly, watching as he slowly rose to his feet.

"Sorry. I didn't see you on time." he quietly said, looking anywhere but me, his cheeks turning red. He looked quite adorable, I had to admit.

"You...-" I started to say but was cut off as Derek held my elbow and changed our positions. I watched with an opened mouth as a ball bounced off his back with force. It all happened so fast that I actually felt dizzy.

"Jones, you're out!"

Derek just sighed but smiled brightly at me. "You owe me one." he smirked, letting go of my elbow as he began to walk backwards. In a second he was gone and reappeared by the bleachers where he sat down with the others who were out.
