All I could hear as I cowered near my locker was laughter. Loud, obnoxious laughter. So loud that my head was pounding. And the different smells that wafted around, it was so overwhelming that I went in and out of consciousness."Please." I whimpered, curling into a ball as I tried to blink away my tears. I looked around for a savior, anyone, anyone at all. Nobody helped me.
"You know Len," Zanie tapped her cheek with mock confusion, "I could have sworn I saw you throwing up in the bathroom." she stated in a soft tone, everyone gasping at the implication of her words.
I wasn't listening, her voice...it sounded wrong in my ears. Like she was dragging it out and it was echoing off the walls. I shook my head slightly and looked around again. Anyone, anyone at all. Nobody.
"Are you okay?" Zanie asked, crouching down to my level. "You don't look so good. Well you haven't looked good since that...night."
I shut my eyes as the memories came rushing back and I let out a loud sob. It shouldn't have happened, what happened that night shouldn't have happened. I opened my eyes and took another look around, my gaze stopping abruptly on a person and a sense of relief washed over me. I'd recognize her anywhere, with her perfect golden hair and baby blue eyes and perfect face. I'd never been so happy to see her as I was now.
She was looking straight at me and I immediately knew something was wrong. It was in her eyes, she was looking at me with...with disappointment and disgust. No, no, no! She just shook her head and turned around, walking away without so much a glance behind.
I waited, ignoring Zanie's taunts, waited for her to come back, to tell me it was a prank. "Heidi. Help me please." I cried, sinking into the floor. She never came back.
I felt hands shaking me awake, voices calling my name urgently. I slowly opened my eyes and sat up, only to find out that I was sobbing loudly. I tried to stop, really tried, but I couldn't. I was terrified.
"Hey, hey, Leo, look at me, look at me!" Hailey snapped at me, cupping my face gently. Nati held my hands with a worried look on her face.
"You're okay, you're okay." Hailey whispered over and over again until I calmed down. "Are you okay?"
I nodded, shrugging their hands off me as I wiped my eyes. "I'm fine." I answered, getting out of the bed and strode into the bathroom, slamming the door shut.
I walked over to the sink and looked at my reflection and then laughed humorlessly. I looked like I was run over by a truck. I sighed and quickly rinsed my face, thinking in the process. A knock brought me out of my thoughts and I looked towards the door.
"Hey...are you okay? Can I come in?" Nati asked hesitantly.
I didn't answer, just stood there staring at the door. I couldn't trust them, I couldn't. It was all so easy for them to snap, to change, I thought, remembering the day before, at P.E class.
I had to do something about it. I had to save myself.

It took me a while to locate his office as the last time I was there I was teleported. I knocked twice, and not waiting for a response, I pushed open the door and bumped into another person who was coming out.
"Sorry." we both said, steadying each other. It was a girl, she was as tall as I was with a similar stature and thick hair the same color as mine. I tried to get a good look at her face but then she was gone. I stood for a moment watching her go, it was almost as if she was running from someone. I shrugged and entered the office.
