Part 1 "Remember Those Silent Nights"
Summary:
It's the first week of December and the holiday cheer in Glurfsberg is aplenty. But when E.B., Looka, Guy, and Sam are set to spend the day together, things immediately go wrong.
-

It was the first week of December in the world of Suess and a little town called Glurfsberg was preparing for the upcoming holiday.

Stockings had been hung, trees decorated, and lights covered every house. It was safe to say that Glurfsberg would have a jolly Christmas like every year.

But amid the season's first snowfall we turn to a quaint little house, with the name Am-I displayed on the mailbox.

Inside we see an ecstatic E.B. jumping from every couch cushion with Michellee trying to calm her daughter.

Looka, who was visiting Glurfsberg for a few days, watched in amusement while putting on his dark green coat.

Unlike Looka's last visit, he wasn't being accompanied by Oswald as he had managed to convince his father that he would be fine on his own.

His father begrudgingly agreed, but still wanted Oswald to make sure he got to Glurfsberg and back home safely, so he would likely show up the day Looka's visit was over.

But today, Looka and E.B. were going to go ice skating on the lake, with Guy and Sam supervising.

E.B. couldn't keep still as she had never gone ice skating before and was excited to do it with her boyfriend no less.

"E.B., keep still! You need to put on your coat!" Michellee scolded as E.B. finally stopped jumping.

"I'm sorry mom, I'm just so excited!" E.B exclaimed, and Michellee took the chance to get the purple coat on her daughter.

Letting her mother zip it up, E.B. let out a huff, feeling the weight of the coat.

"Mom, isn't this a bit overkill?" E.B. complained and Michellee moved to put on E.B.'s pink puffball hat.

"It's cold out there, you must stay warm E.B." Michellee mused and handed her daughter some gloves which she begrudgingly took.

Just then Sam came out of the kitchen in his red winter gear holding a plate of green eggs and ham.

"Are you guys ready to get this show on the road?!" Sam exclaimed loudly, taking a large bit out of the egg.

Guy was a few steps behind Sam, holding Junior.

"In a minute Sam, I need to burp Junior," Guy said, as he had just fed his baby son.

Guy sat on the living room couch and put Junior over his shoulder, patting his back gently. After a few moments, the baby burped from ingesting the food.

"Good boy..." Guy cooed while cradling his son.

Junior let out a few happy noises and held his little arms up toward his father's face.

Guy chuckled and gently placed Junior in the playpen, who immediately reached for one of his toys.

"Are you sure Looka and I can't go by ourselves? I'm twelve years old now." E.B. said tentatively while messing with her winter hat.

Michellee sighed, "I'm sorry honey. Going out into town is one thing but being alone on a frozen lake is another; it can be dangerous."

"Besides, you'll hardly notice me and Sam, we'll just be a few feet away," Guy commented while looking for his scarf in the closet.

"Okay..." E.B. relented, knowing she wouldn't win this argument.

Looka placed a hand on his girlfriend's shoulder and said, "Chin up E.B., I'm sure we'll have tons of fun."
