The morning sun, Eclipse is over, which means one thing to Tiayli'a.
A new day. A day which hopefully will have the Clan start to see her as something more than just weak.
She gets up quickly, giving her baby brother a kiss on the forehead, sending her father and mother a nod, and runs out of the house, a skip in her step.
She usually isn't one to get so excited so quickly, but she gets to hangout with her friends and she gets to continue her passion of teaching. It's a win-win. Nothing could go wrong in her eyes.
She see's Tsireya and Ao'nung walking out of their own home, and Tiayli'a runs into a sprint.
She doesn't give the boy any warning, jumping onto his back, smiling when the boy puts each of his arms under her legs to catch her from falling.
"What the- Tiayli'a you are lucky I caught you!" Ao'nung groans out, still recovering from that added weight that just got thrown onto his body.
"You should of know it was coming." She shrugs, making Tsireya laugh.
"Yeah, Ao'nung."
"How was I supposed to see... you know what, never mind." Ao'nung groans out, readjusting the girl so he has a better hold on her.
"You excited?" Tsireya asks, turning her gaze to the girl, giving Roxto a wave to come over when she sees him walking out of his home.
"Well yeah. My father actually seemed proud of me last night." Tiayli'a says, a warm smile on the girls face.
"Really? That's a shock." Ao'nung jokes, getting a slap on the back of the head because of the comment.
Tsireya just gives her brother a glare, her eyes holding all the apologizes Tiayli'a needs. Tiayli'a just shrugs it off though, knowing her friend was just teasing. She taps on Ao'nungs shoulder, letting the boy know she wants down, and he does so gently, giving her a slight glare and rubbing at where she slapped him. She just sticks her tongue out at him, moving to kiss him on the cheek, before grabbing Tsireya's hand and dragging her towards the Sully's home.
Roxto and Ao'nung share looks of confusion, the chiefs son wiping at his cheek in disgust.
When Tsireya and Tiayli'a get close to the Sully hut they stop before they make their presence fully know, because they are having to hold in a laugh.
"That's the boy you are crushing over?" Tiayli'a points towards the boy.
There Lo'ak is, his tail stuck in a fishing net that he didn't know was attached to the Marui, and Neteyam is pulling on Lo'aks arm, trying to get his tail unstuck.
"I mean... what's wrong with that?" Tsireya asks, trying to cover her mouth so she doesn't let her amusement show.
"Reya.... his tail is stuck in a net." Tiayli'a laughs out, making the boys see the girls.
The boys instantly get flustered, more the younger brother who falls on top of Neteyam when his older brother pulls so hard his tail finally gets loose, but not having anything to catch himself. The boys tumble to the floor, Lo'ak laying on top of Neteyam, elbowing his older brother in the gut. He quickly gets up and composes himself in front of the girls. Neteyam lets out a hiss and gives his brother a glare.
Lo'ak waves towards them, and the girls take that as their sign to join them, both of them thankful Ao'nung and Roxto haven't caught up to them yet, as they know how much the boys would of teased them.
"Hey." Lo'ak says, his gaze turning towards Tsireya.
"You alright?" The girl asks, making the boy blush but nod his head.
