Me and sodo walk down the hallway, occasionally laughing as one of us either said something funny or I almost fell again. I trip a lot what can I say. And it's funny. LAUGH. "Look at you two getting along" someone says from behind us, I turn around and I see the one and only, swiss. I smile and shrug. Sodo on the other hand is now pissed off. Great.
"Shut the fuck up swiss" I look at sodo then back at swiss, I start to back up a bit cause yk ion wanna get caught up in the fight. "Or what? " swiss says as a challenge. Oh Satan this is gonna be bad. "I swear to Satan swiss. " now swiss is pissed of. Man I just want food. "Or what sodo? What are u gonna do? " swiss says as he slowly walks up to sodo. " I will kill u. " sodo says making DIRECT eye contact with swiss. They are now in each other's face. "Let's not kill each other maybe? " I say looking at the both of them. They both just look at me, they both look like they wanna murder something. I raise my hands in defense and they go back to arguing, I should probably go get someone before they get physical.
I run down the hallway and down the stairs, everyone's gathered probably waiting for us, "hey um- sodo and swiss are arguing upstairs" everyone looks at me mountain stands up from the table and runs up stairs, "everyone stay seated we got it" rain says and he grabs my hand and drags me up the stairs with him "why do I have to come with u guys" he looks back at me before he answers "I figured u wouldnt want to be stuck at the table" he was right, I'm not a big fan of sitting at tables in silence "yea that's fair" we get up the stairs to see mountain in between sodo and swiss, "shit" rain runs up to them as sodo trys to go around mountain to get to swiss, rain grabs sodo before he gets to swiss, I just stand there not knowing what to do. "LET ME GO-" sodo yells obviously frustrated. "Not until u calm down. So calm tf down" sodo just growls as mountain calms swiss down. Sodo looks at me for a solid 10 seconds as he just stares at me. I stare back. He seems to calm down a bit, he stops struggling against rain at least.
I walk up to swiss to see if he's okay, "you okay? " he looks up "yea.. I just feel bad for starting that.. " I give him sorry eyes. "It's okay swiss. We know u didn't mean to" I know it sounds weird. But it feels like I've known them forever. Like I've lived with them forever. But there's still so much I don't know about them. Mountain and rain are talking to sodo. I can't tell if their scolding him or just talking. "Ya know I'm really glad u stayed. It's gonna be fun having u around. Maybe even in the band. " I smiled at his words. "Thanks. It means a lot u guys took me in. I feel welcomed" he smiles at me " no problem " I look back over to sodo, he looks a little upset and mountain and rain went back down stairs it seems, swiss starts walking down stairs and he looks back and nods towards sodo and winks. I roll my eyes and walk over to sodo "you alright bud? " he looks up at me. He looks mad still. He turns around and walks away. "Are you not gonna eat? -" he keeps walking and yells "I'm not hungry anymore! " I feel bad. I don't even know why. I walk down stairs to the table and sit down, the food looks pretty good not gonna lie.
"So y/n, u and sodo? " swiss says looking at me and I look back at him blushing. No. I don't like sodo. I mean I do just not I'm that way. At least I think.. "No." I say plainly. "You guys are being so nice to each other tho" he grins, that's really the only facial feature u can see cause of the masks. "Yea and it's confusing me. When I walked down the stairs not even 3 hours ago he wanted to murder me, now he's being nice. I'm grateful but it's confusing" I say, aether looks at me shocked, copia is just staring at me, aether looks at copia and says "you think it's-" copia cuts him off "I'm not sure aether. It's sounds like it" what? The fuck are they talking about? "What? " copia looks at me "nothing! Hurry and eat and then meet me in the band room" he says quickly as almost everyone else besides swiss and mountain gets leaves, I get up and walk up the stairs "where the fuck is the band room" I say in question, I forgot to tell copia I don't know where anything is. Suddenly, a hand grabs my shoulder. It caught me by surprise. May or may not have been a trigger. I ball my fist and clench.
"Why so tense? " I hear a voice say behind me. I look over my shoulder and see sodo standing there, hand still on my shoulder, grin on his face. "No reason. " I say bluntly. "Don't lie. " he says agitated. I sigh. Then I take a deep breathe. "You just scared me. That's all. " I'm not gonna tell him he triggered me. I'm not ready to open up about all that. "Hm. May I ask why ur just standing out here" now I'm leaning back against the wall, sodo standing in front of me, "cause I have no clue where the band room is. Copia told me to meet him there" he grins, "cmon" he nods in a direction and starts walking, I follow behind him.
As were walking, I'm looking at all the details of the church. It's pretty cool not gonna lie. Sodos still in front of me, he hasn't said anything in a while. Kinda awkward. All the sudden, *creak* I stop quickly and look behind me. Tail swaying in curiosity. "Was that you? " sodo asks confused as it seems he heard it to. "no.. " I afraid to move. My anxiety is threw the roof today. I'm tired. Confused. Everything still not registering. "It's probably Nothing. Cmon" I loosen up a bit muscles sore for a second. I mean I was standing there tense as fuck for about 2 minutes so ya know.
Eventually we end up in front of two large doors. Sodo pushes them open. Revealing a stage, instruments, copia and some old guy and a woman? Today keeps getting crazier. "Ah y/n! There u are! What took u so long? " before I could answer sodo answered for me "the dumbass got lost. " he said said annoyed, "bro ur mood swings are confusing" and turns around "what'd u say? " he says acting as if he didn't hear me "u heard me. " I say grinning. Copia walks over with the other 2 mystery people, "y/n, this is papa nehil, " he points to the old guy who has a oxygen mask on his face, he takes a gasp of air. Oh my Satan. I look over at sodo, I swear his face is priceless, man's trying his hardest not to laugh, I mean I can't say anything I'm trying not to either, I wave at papa nehil, he waves back, "and this is sister imperator" I wave at her and smile, she just looks at me, she looks like she could murder me at any second. Kinda intimidating. "Nice to meet u both" I say as I smile, this seems to brighten their mood.
They both smile back at me and then they look at papa (I'mma start calling copia papa now because it feels awkward 🙏) "cmon follow me, u to sodo ur not leaving yet" he says as he sees sodo trying to slip out of the doors, sodo growls and walks over "y/n u said u play guitar right? " I smile
(all ghouls already wear masks but just pretend papa gave u the mask with goggles, I forgot to put that in HAHA)
"yes, I've played since I was a kid, I've gotten pretty good I would say" sodo scoffs, papa chuckles, "I love the confidence but we'll test that now" he smiles as he guides me to the stage, I walk up the stairs and papa hands me a black fender guitar, I inspect it a bit, hella nice guitar. "I forgot to ask, is there anything besides guitar u can do? " I think for a minute, wait I have a voice- "uhh.. I sing.. "
