••.chp 6 : kick it loose.••

I think for a moment.. Hm.. Stage name.. Then my mind wonders back to when I was a teen. Around 13-14 . I had a band. With my friends. Called 'kick it loose' . We all had stage names. Mine was Mars. "What would ur stage name be y/n? Take as long as u need to. " papa IV says. I smile at him, "Mars." Papa smiles at the name, sodo grinning slightly, "it fits u, " sodo says looking slightly up at me..the height difference wasn't major. I smile at him.

"Wonderful name y/n. But, that also means we will mostly refer to you as Mars from now on. " I nod in approval. "That's fine. " papa smiles before asking a question " may I ask, how'd u get the name Mars? " I grin slightly before answering, "I had a band with my friends when I was younger, it ended because a couple of my friends moved and the others wanted to start drama with other people and I knew it wouldn't be a good look for the band so I I ended the band. I kinda forgot about it not gonna lie. " I smile at the memories, playing gigs at random cafes, getting weird looks from others. Oh when times were good. But now, their better.

"That's unfortunate. I would've loved to come watch u play. But hey, now ur in ghost. " he laughs a little at the end. I look over my shoulder to see sodo no longer standing there, he must've gotten bored. Papa then hands me the guitar I played earlier, "this, will be ur guitar. And be prepared, we have tour coming up. In about 5 days we leave. Feel free to tell the other ghouls about the news. " papa says as he smiles politely at me. "I definitely will, thanks for letting me know" I smile back as I turn to leave, "hey I almost forgot, we'll leave a band uniform in ur room, you'll only need to wear it at rituals though don't worry. " he chuckles at the end, "once again thank u papa. It means a lot" I smile as I thank him, he nods at me, I then turn to leave the room once again.

Now, I'm walking down the hallway to the common room smiling like a kid on Christmas. I can't wait to tell the other ghouls. As I make it to the common room I see all the ghouls and ghoulettes sitting on the floor playing Uno. It's a funny sight I will say. I smile as I get ready to say the news, "I have news, " I start, everyone looks up at me "and that is? " swiss asks "I made it into the band" I say excitedly, cumulus squeals in excitement, "yayyy!!" She tells as she hugs me, I giggle a little bit. "Congrats! " swiss says, "it'll be great to have u on stage with us. " mountain says as rain nods in agreement, sodo smiles at me along with the other ghoulettes, cumulus let's go of me and grabs my hand to sit down next to her, cumulus on my right, sodo on my left.

"You guys wanna play truth or dare? " swiss asks smirking , "I'm down" sodo says, "I mean why not" I say shrugging, the ghoulettes all nod, "I'll join" mountain says also shrugging, "I guess I'll participate" rain says as I look around, "where's aether? -" I just noticed he wasn't here, "I'm not sur-" mountain says before he's cut off by the one and only, aether "I'm here sorry I'm late, I got caught up in a book I'm reading" I laugh aether , rain and mountain read books like their fanfics. I mean I guess their both books but yk what I mean. "Whatd I miss? " aether asks sitting next to swiss and sodo, "y/n made it into the band, and now where playing truth or dare, wanna join? " aether looks at me smiling, I smile back, "congratulations y/n! " he says happily, "thanks aether" I thank him. Aether feels like the nice sibling I never had, it's cool.

"And sure I'll join" aether says, "alright who's going first, " swiss asks, "you started the game so you. " rain says as I chuckle, the attitude they give each other for literally no reason is just really funny to me. Swiss sighs, "hmmm... Sodo truth or dare. " he smirks at sodo, "truth." Sodo answers, I just now noticed he scooted a little closer to me. " We're u the one who ate the bar of soap? " sodo glares at swiss face flushed with embarrassment. "No.. " sodo answers clearly lying. "Oh really? " sodo looks nervous, aethers wheezing at this point, mountains snickering at sodos embarrassment, rain has his head in his hands slightly shaking it in disappointment, sunshine pinching her nose bridge, cumulus giggling a little, and cirrus looks like a disappointed mom. It's quite funny. I'm trying not to laugh. "Look man it smelt like vanilla."

sodo says, I bust out laughing along with mountain and cumulus, aether has a headache from laughing, my stomach hurts from it. "Oh my- Satan I cant-" I say struggling to breathe laying back on the floor, rain started laughing as well, sodo just has his face hidden in his palms, as I calm down after a laughing fit, I nudge sodo "hey man we've all probably did it to. " everyone just stares at me "I'm sorry what-" mountain says, "you guys didn't eat soap as a kid? Bro I was eating dirt, rocks, sand, soap, paper towels, honestly I could go on" (I ate all these as a child💀they tasted good in my mind😔)

Mountain just stares at me, rain just has a shocked face, everyone just looking at me. I would say side eye but no, BLANK STARE. "How the fuck are u still alive? -" swiss asks laughing a little, "to be honest I ask myself that everyday. " everyone laughs a little, suddenly a voice over the intercom comes out, " all ghouls and ghoulettes to the band room please. " the voice scared the absolute shit out a me, I was clinging onto sodo like the world just ended, "unholy fuck the scared me" sodo laughs and then blushes as he sees me clinging to him, I notice to and let go blushing like a maniac, "oooooo someone's crushing" I glare over at swiss who seems to be the only one here now seeing everyone went to the band room "shut the fuck up swiss" I say as I look over at sodo who's just murderingly (I'm making up words at this point) looks at swiss still blushing, swiss just hurries to walk out while sodo stands up and offers me a hand, "shall we? " I chuckle, "we shall" as I grab his hand a stand up walking by his side, his tail brushing against my leg while we walk makes me blush. He looks over to me and smirks. He knows what he's doing. "Shut up shorty. " I say "your shorter then me dipshit" he says looking at me again "stfu" I say blankly, he snickers.

I think I'm in love..
