Apani is 18 years old. She is very close to her cousin Jada. Jada is Jacob's twin. They are cousins but at the same time are more like sisters. Ace(Paul) is her best friend.
Apani tells them everything. So, of course, she told them both about her sexuality. She is Pandemisexual. (A combination of pansexual and demisexual. You need an emotional connection and bond with a person to feel romantic or sexual attraction to them regardless of gender.)
Jada and Ace were very supportive of Apani. They were always in her corner. Jake was told as well. He and Apani were close at the time. So she didn't think anything of it.
Then, the Cullens moved back to town, causing things to happen out of her control. But that's not all. Bella Swan moves back to Forks as well. Then Jake's crush on her makes him turn on everyone. So, of course, all hell breaks loose.
