Aiyanna pulled into the nearest hotel for the night. Since everyone was tired. They've been taking turns driving. Now they were halfway to Forks. So they decided to get some rest and drive the rest of the way the next day. They got two separate rooms. Then settled in for the night.
Yani ended up bringing a friend with them on the trip home for spring break. Her friend Su'Toya was a foster kid before she went to college.
So Yani asked her did she want to meet her family instead of staying on campus. She agreed to come. They became friends in their freshman year of college. Su'Toya is a liger shifter, but Yani and La'ryan doesn't know.

Around 1am Su'Toya heard a lot of growling and then chirping coming from her friend's room. So she got up and knocked on the door. She heard scratching, but no one opened the door. So Su'Toya went outside behind the hotel and shifted up in a tree.
After Su'Toya kept reaching out with her mind she was finally successful in picking up on her friend's thoughts. It was Yani that shifted. Su'Toya said through her mind, "Yani its me Toya calm down." Yani said, "Where are you? How can I hear you?"
So she told her to breathe and count to twenty then do it again. Toya then said, "I'm outside and we are shifters that's why you can hear me." Then she said, think of your hands and feet and what they do. This will help you shift back to human. I'm coming back to your room.

Then she shifted back and ran back to Yani's room. This time when she knocked her friend opened the door. She was full blown panicking. So Toya pulled her into a hug and said breath. La'ryan was laying on the bed not moving, but you could hear his heart beating.
Toya asked, "what happened?" Yani started crying saying that she bit him on accident while they were having sex. She said her body started changing and it scared both of them. Fur started coming out on her arms. Then his smell was overwhelming to her. And she just couldn't stop growling and she bit him.
Then she said he's not moving I killed my boyfriend. Toya pulled her into a hug again and said, "listen," his heart is beating." He's in transition.
Yani asked, "what does that mean?" Toya answered her saying, "Rye is changing into a shifter." What did you shift into?" Yani said I'm a Cheetah. Then yelled, "Omg," "how will I tell my family?"
So Toya said "are you sure your family aren't shifters?" Then Yani thought about her conversation with her sister and said maybe they are. Then she asked Toya, "What did you shift into outside?" She told her that she is a Liger shifter. Then Toya said, call your sister to find out. It will help alot if she is a shifter.
Yani waited until morning and called Neenee around 9:30. She couldn't sleep with Rye in transition. Her sister answered asking, "Are you here already excitedly?" Yani said no not yet. I'm calling because something happened and I need help.
