HELAENA was on edge to find out what Dyana had learnt for the next two days, though it would seem as though the poor girl had wandered off. It was on the third day of not seeing her that Helaena asked her mother at dinner.

Alicent froze in place. She knew what had happened to the girl - she was the one who had given her the tea and sent her out of the keep,

"I haven't seen her," She lied smoothly as she took a sip from her cup, "Perhaps you could ask Donella?"

"I've barely seen Donella," Helaena rubbed her stomach worrisomely, a motion which Alicent didn't fail to notice. If her daughter was pregnant once more it would fill her with endless glee,

"What do you mean? Donella is sworn into your service,"

"Which is why I was eager to talk to Dyana... She had some information on her relationship with Aemond which she was eager to share with me."

Alicent glanced up from her cup, "What relationship?"

"That's what I wished to know more about, but... Dyana implied that there was a relationship worth knowing about. I worry for Donella, mother,"

"I worry for your brother," Alicent rubbed her palm down her cheek, "If he was to father a bastard now it would shine the whole family under a negative light. You need to keep Donella closer, Helaena,"

"No," Helaena gripped her skirts between her fingers as her eyes began to dart around the room, "Mother, there is fear within me. The dagger will meet the dragon's eye, the pair will duel until they die, you cannot let-"

Alicent immediately pulled her daughter into her arms and hushed her. Helaena had slipped off into another of her moments.

As Donella dressed herself for the upcoming night, she couldn't help but feel the erratic beat of her heart in her chest. She wasn't sure why she was so nervous, but it was as though a stampede of stallions trampled her chest. When she emerged onto the courtyard, Aemond caught her eye immediately,

"I wasn't sure that you'd be here,"

"Why wouldn't I come?"

The side of Aemond's mouth pulled up in a sort of cocky smirk,

"I thought that you'd be hungover."

Donella wished that she could punch the prince as well, but apparently she'd have to settle with a silent sneer,

"I must say, though your drunken behaviour startled me, it did truly help me understand one very important thing about your training, little Ella, do you know what that is?"
