Rain POV

I stared at my work dismissively for the fifth time this minute and sighed.
I couldn't focus!
I couldn't help but wonder wether I've made the right decision.
Was Prapai a good person to trust?
Was he able to care for Sky properly?
I groaned and turned around in my chair.
I slightly jumped, since non other than Payu himself was standing in my doorway.
"What are you doing here?!" I yelled as he came over and pinched my cheeks between his fingers.
"Came to see my cutie. Besides, your mother let me in, she loves me." He replied, in his matter-of-fact voice.
"Doesn't everyone?" I asked quietly, and grimaced
"What was that?"
"Nothing! Nothing." I quickly shushed him, and questioned:
"Don't you have work to do?"
"Look who's speaking!"
I smiled. Yes, that was true. My chase after Payu turned out to be exhausting, and so I had less time for schoolwork, and the pile of papers beside by desk was proof of that. Now though, that was all in the past. (Except for the schoolwork. That was due tomorrow. :) )
That said, he turned my chair back to face my desk.
"Come on, I'll help you." He said, leaning over my shoulder to examine what I've done so far.
Luckily, I've been more or less focused for the first half hour sitting here, and managed to finish half of the blueprint for a house I was designing.
I sighed again as I looked at everything else I had to do.
"Thank youuuu" I whined and he raised his eyebrows at me.
"You came at the perfect time. I need to finish all this for tomorrow, and I know I won't be able to do it alone."
He grinned, but then turned serious and said "Knowing that, you still sat there for fifteen minutes, doing nothing?"
"I was thinking."
"Okay, okay, now let's get your work done."
With that, he grabbed a stool and sat himself next to me.
"Life saver." I whispered
We started working, Payu occasionally pointing out a better location to place a wall or window.
Words couldn't say how grateful I was. I was so lucky to have him with me. Payu was just so amazing!
I knew I needed to finish the assignments as fast as possible, but I couldn't help but stare at him.
After a while, he noticed me looking, put down his pencil, and playfully glared in my direction.
"Rain, I know I'm great, but please focus."
I immediately turned my head around and continued writing.
We sat there in comfortable silence, for over three hours, working on design sheets and blueprints.

I couldn't help myself, so I went to see Rain, even though I still had lots of work to do back in the garage.
