3rd Person POV

It was a quiet peaceful morning on Planet Arus, the Paladins of Voltron were getting their much needed rest after the fight from yesterday. But the peace didn't last as long as hoped, the castle alarms started blaring alerting the mighty heroes of incoming danger. Hunk flopped out of his bed panicking trippig on his way out thhe door. Shiro was already awake doing push ups in his paladin armour.

"Everybody up! Zarkon's attacking!" Allura orders through the castle, speakers? Shiro rushes out of his room to aid in the 'emergency'. Lance on the other hand had headphones playing soft, relaxing music and an eye mask on. Still blissfully unaware of the alarrms in the background.

"The castle's about to be destroyed!" Keith who was fiddling with a certain knife jumps out of his bed grabs his jacket and rushes out of the room.

"Go, go, go! We need Voltron now!" Pidge who was in the healing pod room with the rescued prisoners and reprogrammed galra drone snaps awake and sprints to the control room.

"Hurry! We can't survive much longer!" Alura shouts from her place at the centre of the control room, Coran standing calmly next to her. Yet no sign of Rei in the entire room.

"You've got to sell it a little bit more," Coran clears his throat. "Oh, no! Allura is dead! Aw, it's horrible! Her head fell off! Wait! What? Her severed head is trying to speak to me!" Coran continues with his theatrics until he sees that sour of the five paladins have gathered in the room.

"Oh! Time!" Coran throws whatever he was holding behind him and faces the paladins who have varying levels of disappointment on their faces.

"I guess this isn''t an actual attack," Shiro guesses.

"And it's a good thing it wasn't because it too you... Coran?" she looks over to coran who is holding a meat thermometer.

"Seventy-five degrees. Oh, sorry. No, this is a meat thermometer," Coran jests.

"However long it was, it was too long. You must always be ready to do battle with Zarkon. Look at you! Only Shiro is in uniform. Keith, Pidge, Hunk, where are your bayards? And where is Lance?" on cue the door opens to show Lance ina blue robe and Blue Lion slippers. Face shining with a smug look hoding a cup of something, he yawns.

"Good morning, everybody. What's going on?" Lance walks over to the rest of the group.

"Coran, Rei and I have been up for hours getting the Castle back in order. We had to run a test on the alarms, and we decided to test you as well. Guess which one failed," Allura scolds sternly. Shiro looks around the room.

"Speaking of, where is Rei?" Shiro inquires.

"He's getting the training deck back into working order. He'll be awhile because he has to go through every level," Coran answers twirling his moustache between his thumb and pointer finger.

"Hey!" Hunk calls. "You got to sleep for 10,000 years, man. Monday night, I was on Earth. Now, I've flown through space, fought some evil alien named Zarkon, eaten food goo in some weird castle. That's a lot to process in, uh..." Hunk stops to think.

"I don't know. What day is it today?" Hunk scratches his face.

"It's the third quintant of the Spicolian movement. Hump day!" Coran slides in and out with a smile.

"It's a lot to process," Hunk points out with a frown.

"You must understand the stakes of our mission. Over the last 10,000 years, the Castle has picked up distress beacons from the following locations," Allura acitvates something on her control panell and the room dims and fills with blue specks again. This time many of the pecks in the room turn a blood orange colour.
