Meet me at the Gryffindor changing rooms before my game, or else I'll be sad :/.   -Moose

Athena chuckled to herself, looking up to see if Professor McGonagall was still watching before she quickly wrote back to James.

Can't promise you anything, Moose. But I'll see what I can do. ;).    -Aiden

Athena carefully cast the parchment into the air and watched as it flew right to James' table. He opened it, read it, and gave her a cheeky grin.

Of course, this didn't go unnoticed by Lily Evans, who watched with an aggravated scowl on her face before returning back to her work.

James looked as smug and pleased with himself as any child did on Christmas.

Yet, of course, James was too dumbstruck to cover up the gesture. Because the werewolf beside him noticed.

"Prongs," Remus whispered harshly. "If you're using Athena to make Lily fancy you or something. Drop it."

James' reaction was instantaneous, and he prevented a scoff from escaping his lips. "You're wrong."

"Am I?" Remus asked, "or are you just too thick in the head to realize you'll end up getting hurt. You, AND Athena."

"Nothing's going to happen, Moony!" James said, rolling his eyes. "We don't fancy each other anways. I like Athena, but I love Lily."

"Keep telling youself that, mate." Sirius, who had been listening, said from beside them. "I think the whole bloody school realized you're giving up on Evans."

"It's for my plan-"

"Mr. Potter, Mr. Black, and Mr. Lupin!" Professor Mcgona said sternly. "Anything you'd like to share with the class?"

"Nope!" James grinned, "Sorry Minnie!"

McGonagall rolled her eyes, mumbling about something that had to do with "dealing with these boys for the rest of the years ahead."

"It's for my plan," Sirius mocked. "You're in denial, Prongs."

James grimaced, "I do not fancy Athena Dalton."

"I do not fancy James Potter." Athena scoffed, "you're bloody blind."

"I am not," Regulus defended. "Why would he tell you to meet him before the game, then?"

"To talk?"

"To snog."

Athena's glare didn't faze Regulus in the slightest; he smirked in response, before joining Evan Rosier towards the Quidditch stands.

The Slytherin girl had no other choice but to go to the Gryffindor changing rooms.

Athena walked towards the large, red door. Most of the crowd was wondering what she was doing there, while some smirked and let her in.

She walked further into the room, her eyes quickly taking in James' bare chest, before she stopped in her tracks.

"Hi, Aiden." James smirked, taking in her slightly flustered look. "Like what you see?"

Athena felt stupid for staring at his toned, muscular chest for so long, because now that she was looking at him, her eyes would not leave the v-line that was visible right before his loose joggers.

Herself betrayed her, because now they were meeting each other's eyes.

And then there was the feeling in her stomach that she hadn't felt in a while, where she wasn't sure if it was a good feeling or a bad feeling.

"Yes, James." Athena said. "You wanted to see me?"

James' grin widened. "You just called me James."

Her lips pursed, "no."

"Maybe I should let you see me like this more then." His body crept closer.

"See you like what-"

"Half naked," he said teasingly. She looked away, "Only joking!"

Athena rolled her eyes, "I'll be off now."

"Wait a second, love." James grabbed onto her arm, making the girl turn around. She nearly slammed onto his chest. "I know you have access to the liquor in the kitchens because a little birdie told me-"

"Regulus is the only one that knows that." Athena said, growing annoyed.

"Okay!" He put his arms up in defense. "Maybe little Black told me that. Anyways, when we win I'd like you to get as much as you can from the elves. We're going to be celebrating!"

Athena wanted to laugh, "and you're so positive that you'll be winning this match?"

"Indeed, love." James smiled, "you'd do that for me, right?"

"Won't be making any promises," Athena hummed. "Is this really what you wanted to ask me, this couldv'e waited after the match."

James shrugged, "I wanted to see you before I go out there and win."

There's the feeling again.

"Good luck out there, Potter." Athena said, "don't hurt yourself too bad."

"Don't get worried about me, love." He replied, "you better go now."

Athena snickered, and she had no idea what had caused her to do it, but she gave James a kiss on the cheek, before turning around and not wanting to see his reaction.

James was ecstatic that she took the initiative to do so, because he was blushing furiously. His hand touched his cheek as he watched her walk away, and he was filled with pride and something else.

James Potter was so oblivious to his own feelings towards Athena Dalton that he didn't even realize how badly he was going to hurt her soon.
