The moment she was apparated back into her room, she was met with a harsh slap from her father.

"Don't you ever learn!" Slap, "You stupid." Slap, "stupid." Slap. "Stupid girl."

Slap.

Athena held onto her cheek, glaring at her father with fire in her eyes while her nostrils flared.

"The Dark Lord is wrong," he snarled. "You're nothing but a weak little girl who I am ashamed to call my daughter."

Athena inhaled heavily, and the cut in her cheek opened.

Blood. Dripping.

"Papa," she drawled, looking up at his eyes that matched hers. "I was never tasked to-"

"ENOUGH!" He banged on the wall behind him, making her flinch violently and hitting the wall behind her.

"You are lucky I cannot get rid of you, girl." He mumbled roughly in her ear. "I would have had you gone the moment you started to act mad."

Athena wasn't surprised that he was chuckling, closing his eyes and shaking his head like she was the biggest joke ever.

His eyes opened and they met hers again; his smile dropped. "You are not my daughter." He said, walking out of the door. "You are nothing to me."

Her gaze lingered for a few seconds, where he stopped, and her legs got loose. She let her body slowly drag down the wall, and she stayed there for a while.

She closed her eyes. She wasn't sure if she wanted to or not, but she found herself constantly replaying the past few minutes in her head.

"Come on girl," Bellatrix whispered harshly. "Kill Them."

Athena stood above a muggle man, who was unarmed and unprepared for the attack, and lay on the floor, holding onto his children tightly while they crouched protectively into the corner of the living room.

She was forced to come with a few of the Death Eaters, yes, but it was never meant for her task to be killing the family. Athena continued to ignore Bellatrix, refusing to listen to her nagging voice any more. She did not want to kill the family.

Suddenly she caught of eyes of one of the kids, the daughter. She looked about six years old.

Athena shook her head aggressively, and she knew there was no way we could ever do that to a man with two children, an innocent man. Or anybody.

The young girl had short blonde hair, with the biggest eyes she had ever seen. It was the type of face that could warm a person's heart just by looking at them.

"Stupid girl, move!" Bellatrix hissed, "watch and learn."

The father of the children gasped loudly, and scrambled above his children in a protective manner.

"Kill me, do anything to me. But p-please." He sobbed, "please not my children."

Athena could not show emotion in front of them, but on the inside she was dying.

Her heart was shattering, bits by bits, for the family.

"Kill me!" The man sobbed louder, "not them too."

Bellatrix only let out a high pitched giggle, pointing her wand directly at the man. "Is that right?"

Athena was about to open her mouth and scream at the Black sister; she was desperate. Her father, who had been standing by, watched his daughter open her mouth, and he clamped his hand down on her mouth to muffle her words.
