At All Cost (Ganqing)

chapter 10.

*Keqing's pov:*

The principal, Mrs. Ei, walked in a rush to the situation. I already knew what would happen; moments before disaster.

"Keqing, to my office."

She didn't grab me by my arm, just like other principals I met.. that's already a green flag. 3 more halls and we're there. But if I get suspended, it would be impossible to get to a new school, and have to leave this one.. and Ganyu.
But atleast they got what they deserved.
One last hall.. and now it's only a few meters..

It's either hell, or run. Option 1 or 2? We entered the office. Mrs. Ei commanded me to sit down.

"So, what is the reason why you've beaten them up?"

"They have beaten up Ganyu for no reason today, so I wanted the exact same thing to happen to them."

"Keqing, we solve problems with our mouth, not our han- nevermind I sound like an primary school teacher. I get your mad about what they have done that to Ganyu- ugh I don't even know what to do. I don't see an valid reason to suspend you, so I will let you go with a punishment. From now on, you will come to school an hour earlier for the rest of the month. Will you forget one day, a week will be added."

"Understood."

"And will you be nice to get the two to my office? Thank you."

I got out of my chair, annoyed, but relieved. I walked away. I knew exactly where to find them; the school nurse. Of course. I walked in; seeing two ugly looking boys; with their face covered in blood. I tried my best not to laugh, and almost failed. Shit, I forgot what I had to do.. oh, right!

"You, and you, to Mrs. Ei office."

"That you even dare to show your face here! You fucking ruined my black bananas jacket!"

"Deserved, I would pay to get those chemical waste banned. And don't speak back, I'm just doing what I have to."

I searched for Ganyu, but I already saw her walking to me.

"Keqing! What happened? Did you got suspended?"

"No, just have to come an hour earlier to school for the rest of the month."

"Phew! What about the 2? Do you know what they got?"

"Not yet, but I do know one of them broke their nose and the other got something with his jaw."

"Keqing I said you didn't had to do anything! You could've get anything worse then this!"

The look on her face changed from happy, to.. dissapointed?.. I took her hands and pulled her closer.

"But did I? No, so it's fine, right? I don't think I would do this again. But i don't promise it"

"Yeah.. thanks, Keqing. Thanks for everything. I'm so lucky to have you, I don't know what I would ever done whitout you.."

"Don't think about that, I wouldn't even want to know what could happened to you, my cute miracle adorable little scr-"

"Hey! I told you to stop calling me that!"

after a moment of silence, we burst into laughter. And of course I sounded like a hyena.
