Wilbur:
How could his parents be so cruel and throw away something as precious as Quackity?! I would love to kill them!
I was watching Quackity as he looked at clothes, and I momentarily disappeared to the section where they were selling jackets. I wanted to surprise him, and after we finished shopping for clothes, I planned to take him to a restaurant.
"Can I help you, Mr. Soote?" one of the saleswomen asked me and approached me as soon as I signaled for her to come over.
"I would appreciate some advice. You're a woman, so you might be better at estimating this. Do you see that young man over there? Help me choose a jacket for him," I said with a neutral expression. The saleswoman nodded, glanced at Quackity, and headed to the rack with jackets. She browsed through them for a while, then pulled out a jacket that might fit Quackity.
"Could this work?" she asked, and I just nodded. Perfect! My little puppy will look impressive in that.
"Quackity? Come here for a moment, please," I called out to him. He raised his head and, when he found me, hurried over.
"What's this for?" he asked and gave me an annoyed look that said, 'I'm not wearing that!'
"You should have at least one decent outfit on standby. Besides, I have a surprise for you, and what we'll be doing tonight requires proper and decent attire, otherwise they won't let you in," I said and smiled. Quackity sighed, took the jacket, and without saying a word, went into the fitting room. After a moment, he came out, and I had to bite my lip. He looked masculine and sexy in that. Quackity noticed my reaction, frowned, and retreated back to the fitting room to immediately take off the jacket.
"Forget it, I'll never wear this again in my life," he snapped when he emerged from the fitting room and threw the jacket at me. I nodded, and as he continued to select clothing, I turned to the cashier, handed her the jacket, and instructed her to take it to the counter. Then I went after my puppy.
"I'm not choosing anything," Quackity grumbled, and I chuckled. I came to the rack, studied it for a while, and finally pulled out a t-shirt. "Forget about that. I won't dress like you," Quackity snapped, and I just smirked.
"And do you only have your clothes for show?" I asked with a smile, and Quackity blushed. It seemed like he was thinking about something, but then he turned and continued selecting.
"Alright, let's go," I said to Quackity as my driver carried bags full of clothes to the car trunk.
"I said I won't wear it, so why do I have to have it on?" Quackity growled angrily as he exited the store wearing the jacket, and his eyes bore into me with a fiery look.
"Because you look so sexy in it." I purred in his ear, and Quackity blushed. We got into the car and headed to one of the most modern restaurants in all of Europe.
"Wilbur?" Quackity suddenly spoke up, and I looked at him with a smile.
"Is something wrong, pup?" I asked and propped up my chin.
"How did you become a vampire?" he asked, nearly startling me. Well, I didn't expect him to really ask me about that, but I can't refuse. "I told you mine, so you could tell me yours too," he said when I didn't respond for a while. I just smiled.
"Well, I'm not objecting, you just surprised me. Well, anyway, it's a bit of a longer story, but I'll tell you. When I was 23, I lived as an ordinary guy in a fairly decent family. At the time, I was engaged to a girl I knew nothing about, except that my parents kept telling me I had to marry her. But back then, I was young and other girls were so attractive that instead of staying at home and waiting for that unknown girl, I roamed the streets and pursued others. I didn't come home until evening, and by then, my parents were furious. That unfamiliar girl was sitting there, and when she looked at me, I regretted even leaving home. When I sufficiently apologized to her and my parents, I chatted with the girl, who introduced herself as Niki Nihachu. My parents left us alone, and Niki announced that she was hungry, so I offered her something to eat, and she said she wanted me. I didn't understand and thought it was a joke, but I was wrong. She bared her fangs, bit me, and then I woke up three days later as a vampire. Meanwhile, Niki disappeared, and because of the immense hunger I woke up with, I killed my parents." I recounted my past and Quackity looked at me with interest.
"Is Niki still alive?" he asked, and I shrugged.
"It's about 3,000 years ago, I don't know what happened to her." I said and looked at him.
"Sir? We're here." The driver's voice interrupted, and I noticed that we had arrived. We got out of the car, and we entered a luxurious French restaurant.
"Wilbur, this is another reason why I didn't want to move in with you. I'd just be a burden to you," Quackity said, and I just chuckled.
"Don't bring that up again. You'll never be a burden to me," I whispered in his ear, and Quackity nervously laughed.
"Sir Soote, we have a table prepared for you." The head waiter told me, leading us away from the other guests to a private room where we would have privacy.
"Especially don't tell me this is a date," Quackity said, and I smiled, propping up my chin as I sat down at the table.
"If I said yes, would you be here with me?" I asked, and he blushed so beautifully.
"Well... I..." he stammered, struggling to find the words. I just smirked. I would take him right here and now; he looked so cute, but I'll wait for his answer and for a more private spot.
"I'm waiting, pup," I continued to grin and played with my wine glass.
"Yes," he finally managed to say, almost inaudibly. My heart skipped a beat when I heard it, and I bit my lip.
"I love you, Quackity," I whispered in his ear, making him jump, and I took advantage of the situation to claim his lips. He didn't resist, rather slowly started cooperating. Though I'd love to take him right here, right now, regardless of being in a public place, I had to pull away from my pup.
"I'll protect you, I promise. I won't let anyone take you away from me, and I'll take care of you no matter what it takes. I'll never let anyone take you away from me," I whispered and stroked his cheek.
"I believe you," he said softly, and I smiled. I got up and sat back down. The waiter just entered with our order, placed it in front of us, wished us a good meal, and then left.
"Bon appétit," we wished each other, and we dug into the food.
"I'm as free as a BIRD!" Quackity exclaimed when we left the restaurant, bursting into laughter. Okay, I must have been mistaken. A few glasses of wine can get even a wolf drunk.
"Yeah, I know, pup. Now come on," I said and led him to the car. I got him into the car, and Quackity immediately sat on my lap, snuggling up to me. I just hoped he wouldn't vomit.
