Schlatt:

I returned from the city to the house and went to Quackity's room. I saw him sitting on my bed in a cross-legged position with his eyes closed. I approached him quietly and got close to his face, almost pressing my nose against his.

"But, but what are you doing here?" I asked with a smirk, and Quackity got startled, falling to the floor.

"N-nothing..." Quackity stammered, and I grinned. He looked so cute and innocent. I was right beside him and pinned him down. Quackity blushed and closed his eyes.

"Open your eyes." I gently commanded in his ear and nipped at it. Quackity shook his head, still keeping his eyes closed.

"Please, open your eyes." I implored and nipped at my lip. Quackity hesitated for a moment, but then slowly opened his eyes and looked at me.

"I want you to fall in love with me. I'm better for you than that Wilbur. I'll protect you, not like that liar Wilbur. I love you, Quackity." I said, wiping a tear from his cheek, kissed him, and then got up from him.

"Are you hungry? I'll tell someone to bring you food, okay?" I smiled and Quackity nodded slightly. I left the room, asked someone to bring Quackity some food, and went to call someone who owed me a favor, which could be immensely useful.

Quackity:

I was lying on the floor, staring at the ceiling, and crying. Why is he doing this to me? Why do I have to be here and not with Wilbur? And I don't want to fall for him. His scent doesn't appeal to me! I got up, looked around, and saw my shirt. I jumped to get it, feeling a faint trace of Wilbur's scent on it, and it calmed me down. I hope he finds a way to save me soon.

Niki:

I watched Wilbur pacing around the room, and I was getting bored.

"Are you going to do this for a long time? I'm tired of it. Why don't you sit down and listen to my plan?" I asked, absentmindedly playing with a strand of my hair. Since we were given a small vial of blood, Wilbur didn't want to hear my plan to rescue his Quackity.

"Alright, talk!" He said abruptly, sitting back in his chair and lighting a cigarette.

"Hooray! So, I know a guy who everyone fears, even the werewolves. Actually, he's my Master, and he turned me into a vampire back then." I said with a grin, catching his attention.

"And who is he?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Dream." I said, and Wilbur almost choked.

"I thought he was a legend." Wilbur said, looking at me with curiosity.

"Everyone thinks that, but it's not true. So, should I call him? But you have to keep in mind that it will take about a week for him to get here. In the meantime, I could train you." I said, smiling. Wilbur pondered for a moment and then nodded. "Okay, I'll give him a call." I said, hopped off the table, and went to call my Master.

Wilbur:

While I didn't particularly like Niki, when I heard that she knew Dream personally, I began to consider her idea. I wondered what would happen if I had actually married her back then. Would we be happy? I pushed those thoughts to the back of my mind and started thinking about Quackity. I clenched my fists and flicked the cigarette into the ashtray.

"Hey, Wilbur? Is Niki here? I can't reach her." I heard Karl's voice, and I stopped.

"She's gone to make a call, what's up?" I asked, furrowing my brows. How does he know she's here?

"Yeah, can you tell her to call me? Thanks." He said and hung up. I didn't like this at all. I wondered what he wanted to tell her.

"Okay, it's arranged." Niki said when she returned and smiled.

"Karl called me, you should call him back." I said, raising an eyebrow. "Why don't you call him now?" I asked, frowning.

"We have time, he can wait. We should focus on the training now." Niki said and pushed her unruly hair behind her ear.

"Alright, let's get started then. We don't have much time." I said, getting up and heading to the garden.

"So, can you teleport to the other side of the room without using super speed?" Niki asked me, and I shook my head. "It's simple, just think about where you want to be. This way, you can get to your Quackity without being noticed." She explained with a smile.

"You focus on getting to the other end of the garden. Something like that." She said and disappeared to the other end in a second, then immediately returned.

Now it was my turn. I started to concentrate. When nothing happened, I growled in frustration.

"It's not working!" I snapped, and Niki sighed.

"Because you're thinking about Quackity, and he's taking up all of your focus, pardon me. Try to forget about him at least for today." Niki said, and I sighed.

"You probably don't know what it's like to fall in love and have some jerk steal him away and hurt him!" I shouted at her, and she frowned.

"Unfortunately, I don't know, but I know how you feel! Don't think that just because you have an image of me as a coward, I act like one! I want to help you, but you can't appreciate that help if you can't concentrate!" She yelled at me, and at that moment, I felt like a scolded dog. Niki was right.

"I apologize." I murmured and bowed to her.

"Apology accepted. Get up and start concentrating!" She commanded, and I obeyed.
