Chapter XIV

Kris //

We're now heading back at the mansion after we sensed that something's happening there. If I'm not mistaken it's Tao, what happened this time, huh?

When we reached home the shuttered pieces of trees welcomed us, making Nia uneasy.

"What the hell happened here?!" She piped up while we scanned the whole place, "Did Tao did this?" She shook her head then suddenly rushed inside the house and we followed her of course, "Tao?! Luhan?!" He called out for the two boys who we left here to look after Crystal but didn't received any response.

"They're not here." I told her as I tapped her shoulder, "What were those guys thinking? And Luhan, I'm expecting him to be more responsible but he even tagged along with Tao's stupidness?" I sighed deeply then shook my head in disbelief.

"What are we going to do now?" Xiumin asked wearing a serious face, he might be always fooling around but at times like this he could also be serious, "You also know what Tao is planning to do, don't you?" He added.

"Let's go Xiumin, we have to stop them before they commit something really idiotic that will cost their lives." I started off, "Nia, stay here we can't let Crystal be alone here." I instructed her but I expected to this stubborn girl she objected.

"No, I'll go with you!" She stated, "Please Kris, let me go with you?" she begged as she wore a very worried face.

"No, stay here." I said in commanding tone.

"But-..."

"No Nia, I-I'll go." Crystal suddenly appeared and cut Nia off, "Let me go alone." She said while groggily going down from stairs.

I immediately rushed towards her to accompany her because anytime from now she might fall because her energy was all drained due to not eating and drinking blood.

"What? But you can barely stand? So, how can you stop Tao or even follow them?" Nia said throwing his hands in the air dramatically, "Don't be ridiculous Crystal?" She shook her head as she let out a deep sighed.

"H-How about you Nia? Do you think you can stop Tao? He's stronger than you and he'll surely not listen to you?" Crystal started off making Nia clenched her fist trying to keep her cool, "I know that you're worried about Tao, and that's normal because you love him, right?" Nia's eyes grew wider being surprised that Crystal knows her real feelings for her own fiancé, "But let me fix this myself since I'm the reason of all of these, don't worry I won't kill Tao, just hurt him a little to wake him up on his madness." She can still joke around even with her condition now? As expected from my princess.

"Ok, ok, I understand now," Nia surrendered and sighed deeply, "But how can you stop him if you're weaker than a mortal?" She asked as she thrown her hands in the air dramatically and Crystal smiled as response.

"Kris," he started off, "Give me your blood." She stated in commanding tone and of course I happily agreed and I lifted her and place her right next to me on the couch, "Thanks," she beamed me her sweet smile, "Umin, I might lost myself and will try to drink all the blood running thru Kris' veins so, I want you to get ready, do everything to stop me and don't hesitate to hurt me if needed, got it?" She instructed.

"Copy that, my dearest princess." Xiumin piped up and saluted.

She then turned to me with her bloody red eyes and climbed on top of me then as she found my neck she started licking the certain spot where she'll bite me. And the next thing I know she's already sucking on neck hungrily.

Kai //

Earlier Kris hyung, Xiumin hyung, and Nia hurriedly left just told us that there's an emergency and immediately dashed out from the shop leaving us all with dumbfounded faces.

I actually feel worried, the emergency they're talking about might be about Crystal? Damn! I'm so worried about her, especially that it's already been three days since I last saw her? I really wonder how is she? What's she doing now? Is she mad at me? Ugh! I'm so worried?! Crystal, why are you doing this to me?

It's already 9pm and our shop is already close. We're now cleaning the whole area then can go home after.

"Kai, throw the garbage outside already." Suho-hyung commanded and I lazily walked towards the garbage bags and carried it with my both hands. Too many garbages to throw today because there's lot if costumers thanks to Kris-hyung and company's presence. That's not sarcasm, ok?

"Kai, do you need help?" Kyungsoo asked, "I can carry the other bag if you want?" He added, I've talked to him about thrice already and told him that he shouldn't blame himself for Crystal not coming here anymore. But he's still obviously feel guilty about it.

"No thanks hyung, I can handle it already." I told him then patted his shoulder, "You go help Sehun and Suho-hyung fixing the tables and chairs instead." I suggested and he nodded and went help those two.

While I, went out at the back door already to throw the garbages. After dumping it I saw two people hiding in the dark.

"Who's there?" I asked as I tried to recognize their faces, "Who are you?" I added.

"Did you forgot us already, huh?" A somewhat familiar voice piped up, that voice is he..."Long time no see, stupid mortal?" The two people went out from the dark and shown their faces.

I was right it was that guy, it's Tao and the blonde guy who's with him that time. I believe I still haven't heard his name?

"You don't need to know my name, weak mortal." The other guy said like he can read my mind? "Yup, you're right I can really read your mind." He smirked then suddenly the color of his eyes changed from black to bloody red as well as Tao who's glaring at me evilly?! W-What the hell is happening here?! How can that happen?! "Still don't get it? Well, what do I expect to a stupidly innocent human like you?" The blonde guy sighed, wait? Did I just saw fangs?

"W-What the hell are you?!" I shuttered, "What do you want from me?"

Tao slowly walked towards me, "What are we?" He started off and because he's closer to me now I can clearly see his bloody red eyes and f-fangs? V-Vampires?!

"Finally!" The blonde guy snorted, "Yes we're blood sucking freaks, vampires." He revealed making my eyes grew wider and jaw dropped on the floor.

"Why we're here?" Tao went closer to my face, "We're here to finish your miserable...life."
