Chapter XXIV

Kai //

It's again Monday, it means another day to work in the cafe. As the bell rang I immediately packed my things and dashed out of the school. Crystal will be there for sure so, I need to hurry up. Even after knowing her secret I don't know, my feelings for her didn't changed at all. Her smiles still captivates my eyes and heart, and her eyes that sparkles every time she beams her smiles.

"I can't wait to see her now." I muttered as I cracked into a big smile.

Before I reached the cafe I can already see how crowded the shop was. There's a very long line outside, there's really a lot of customers but the number of customers today was like ten times than usual.

"What's happening?"

When I arrived our girl customers started greeting and squealing my name and of course I greeted them back. I ran to the back door since I was pretty sure that I'll have a hard time if I choose the front door.

As I entered I saw Chanyeol-hyung and Kyungsoo-hyung being so busy cooking and preparing orders. "Hyung, why the both of you are here? Don't we have lots of customers today?" I asked as I walked towards them.

"Hello Kai," Chanyeol-hyung greeted me without even looking at me. "That's the reason why we're both here, two hands isn't enough for all the orders." He stated.

"Then that means only Baekhyun-hyung, Suho-hyung, and Sehun are outside serving the customers? Can they handle all of the customers today?" I worriedly asked as I started to unbutton my school uniform.

"Nope, we have some new companies today Kai." Chanyeol-hyung answerd and I gave him a questioning look.

"Instead of asking and disturbing us here, why not just go outside to check and also help them, huh?" Kyungsoo-hyung suggested who's like Chanyeol-hyung being so busy and focused on cooking. "Little reminders, prepare yourself and don't freak out after seeing who are the new workers." Hyung added that made me more confused and at the same time curious.

I walked inside the changing room and immediately changed to my work uniform. When I went out, I was taken aback on how crowded the shop was. But surprisingly I cant feel any tension and stress revolving the shop. I first saw Baekhyun-hyung who's serving some customers with a big smile plastered on his face.

"Oh kai! You're finally here." He greeted me as soon as he saw me, "Come here and help us, we have a lot of customers today." He stated as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Hyung, who are the new workers those two hyung talking about in the kitchen?" I asked as I approached him, well I'm really curious about these people because Suho-hyung never mentioned getting new workers here.

"Oh you mean them?" Baekhyun-hyung turned around and I followed and turned to where he was looking at. And my eyes almost fell from it sockets when I finally saw the mysterious new workers, "You know them already, right? They're Crystal's friends, Luhan and Tao. And also Crystal made Xiumin and her brother Kris help too." Hyung narrated but I was not really paying attention. I was busy having a mental breakdown seeing the two vampires who tried to kill me and killed Kyungsoo-hyung.

Now I get what Kyungsoo-hyung mean earlier. But how can he be that calm knowing that these two are here?! Luhan, the arrogant blonde one was with Sehun on the counter while Tao was with Suho-hyung serving the customers.

"Yah Kai! Are you ok? Why you look so pale there?" Baekhyun-hyung worriedly asked and he touched my forehead and neck checking me out. "Are you not feeling well?" He added and because of so much fright and anger I can't utter any words.

"Oh Kai-hyung, you're finally here." Sehun cheerfully stated making everyone turned to me, including the two viscous monsters. "Yah hyung, are you ok?" He asked then approached me. Luhan that's with him was quietly looking at me and when our eyes met he averted his stares towards Tao.
