Chapter XX

Kai //

Kyungsoo-hyung isn't the same person I know, probably it's because he's not human anymore but a vampire just like Crystal and others. Earlier, hyung asked for my blood that gave me chill throughout my body, I know I said that I'm willing to give him my blood and I'll really going to if he wants but I really can't also help but to be scared. If I give him my blood am I going to be one of them also, a vampire?

"Kai, can we talk?" Crystal suddenly piped up, how long have she been standing there? Why didn't I even noticed her come over? "If you're scared to be alone with me then we can just talk here if you want?" She suggested with a quite sad tone.

"N-No, it's not like that Crystal," I retorted as I shook my head and hands, "We can talk over there, let's go?" I said then led her the way and she followed me quietly, I brought her to the dressing room where we can talk without anyone interrupting us or hear us. "S-So, what do you want to talk about?" I shuttered can't hide my nervous to her, I know she won't hurt me but remembering what happened that night, remembering that she's also a vampire that wanted to kill me and killed Kyungsoo-hyung...ugh! Kai, it's her Crystal the one who save Kyungsoo-hyung from death so, you shouldn't feel this way to her?!

"It's ok Kai, I understand you." She said lowly with frail smile, wait she can read my mind just like that other vampire? "Yeah, I can also do that, I can copy any powers that I want that's why they call my power as the mirror." She explained and the only thing I response was a nod, "Anyways set that aside, the reason why I want to talk to you is about Kyungsoo. I know and I heard what you're thinking, you'll not turn into vampire if you let him drink your blood but you don't have to do that Kai, you don't need to feed him with your blood." she stated with unreadable expression and lifeless eyes.

"But I said before that I'll give him my blood, and hyung heard it so, I guess I can't just take back my words because I'm scared." I sighed deeply then sat on the bench inside the room, "I'm sorry Crystal, I know that you won't hurt me or anyone but after that night...I don't know, I-I really don't know, Crystal." I sighed again then covered my face with my both palm being so confused with everything.

I then heard light footsteps that coming closer to me, I saw familiar legs in front of me and when I looked up I saw Crystal with sadness on her eyes about to touch me but she paused and when she's about to pulled her hand back I stopped her and took her hand. She was surprised with my sudden move but I just beamed her a smile then I placed her cold hand on my cheek.

"Kai" She muttered with her suiting voice.

"I'm sorry Crystal, I should have known from very start that you'll never hurt me or any human here because you have kind heart. I'm really sorry for being scared of you." Her hand was so cold but her touch gives me warm inside, she then caressed my cheek as she shook her head.

"You don't need to apologize Kai, you really don't have to." From the frail smile from earlier she's now wearing a warm one. How can someone that can smile like that hurt me or others? Kyungsoo was really right, Crystal will never or even think of hurting us.

"Crystal I-..." I was cut off when I heard a couple of knock that startled me. And when I turned around I saw Kyungsoo-hyung leaning against the door with smirk plastered on her lips, "K-Kyungsoo-hyung?" I shuttered.

"Well hello there, am I disturbing you?" He piped up still wearing smirk then closed and locked the door behind him.

"Kyungsoo, you shouldn't do something that you'll regret later." Crystal said in warning tone with serious face, "If you stop now and come back with us to the mansion, your punishment will be lessen." She added, punishment?

"Come on Crystal don't be killjoy, I haven't even talk to my bestfriend Kai properly and you want me to go back to that prison already?" Hyung protested as he walked towards Crystal, when he's half foot away from her he stopped, "Aren't you being so strict and heartless, huh princess?" He added then caressed Crystal on the side of her face wearing a cocky smile while Crystal's expression haven't changed even little.

"Kyungsoo for the last time, enough." She said with commanding tone that's kinda scary. But instead of being intimidated and scared Kyungsoo let out a chuckle then put his hand inside his pocket then turned his gazes to me that made my body stiffened.

"Not until I'm done drinking Kai's blood." His eyes suddenly turned into bloody red and fangs suddenly appeared that made my eyes widened in shocked and scared, "Come here Kai, offer your blood to me your bestfriend." He extended his arm to me, and the next thing I know was I was reaching for his hand already involuntarily like, there's someone else controlling my own body.

When I was inch away taking his hand Crystal suddenly walked in between us that snapped me, "Fine Kyungsoo, you won. Leave Kai alone and just take my blood instead." She declared with a sigh a sign of defeat, a big heart shape smile suddenly appeared on Kyungsoo-hyung's face.

"B-But Crystal, yo-..."

"Kai, please go out now you don't have to see this." Crystal cut me off.

"Why you asking him to leave? This thing isn't knew to him anymore so, just let him stay." Hyung smirked while Crystal furrowed her eyebrows in anger, I guess?

"You're not thinking that you'll be free after this, do you Kyungsoo?" Crystal raised an eyebrow while hyung just shrugged his shoulders that made her shook her head in disbelief.

Kyungsoo-hyung came more closer to Crystal then tucked her hair at her back exposing her very pale neck. I want to protest and stop hyung but it felt like my body was not following my orders, I can't move or even talk. Kyungsoo-hyung started licking a part on Crystal's neck while his eyes was onto me like he's checking if I'm seeing everything he'll do then with a blink his fangs were in contact with Crystal's flesh already and savoring her blood.

Kyungsoo-hyung, why, why you doing this? Why you doing this to me?
