Chapter XXV

Tao //

When Suho already flipped the sign board in the door I flopped myself on the chair nearest me. Damn it! I never thought that working on this kind of place will be this tiring.

"Are you ok Tao-hyung?" Sehun asked as he handed me a glass of cold fruit tea. I took it immediately because I was already thirsty and sipped half of it. "You're not that thirsty, huh hyung?" He chuckled then walked towards Luhan and handed him his share.

Those two easily became close and comfortable to each other. If I don't know them, I might also mistaken them as twins just like what those mortal girls thought earlier. And it looks like Luhan likes him, he's so fond of this mortal kiddo. He's smiling and laughing with him since earlier and he loves to pat this mortal kiddo's head. I smell something fishy, is Luhan gay?

As I thought of that, Luhan instantly shot me a piercing stares. I didn't forgot that he can read and hear what I was thinking, I purposely did that. His glares became more intense and I just smirked as response making him rolled his eyes. So gay.

"Hyung, what's wrong?" Sehun asked him and he immediately turned and shook his head on the kid as response.

I then just drunk the remaining fruit tea on my glass and took one cube of ice into my mouth to somewhat lessen my thirst. But who am I fooling, I know any kind of human drinks won't do, what I need is blood but where can I get that here? I can't just grab one of this people here, Crystal and Kyungsoo will surely won't think twice and cut my throat if I did that.

But seriously, I'm already thirty. Where's Crystal, I need her.

I scanned the place and she's not around even Kai. That only means they're together. I still can't accept that she chose that mortal more than me but I can't do anything about it, even it really hurts I should accept that damn fact already. Crystal can't love me the way I do to her, Tao accept that already and move on.

"Someone's thinking so deeply? That's so unusual for you, huh Tao?" Nia who flopped herself on the seat beside me piped up. "How's your first day?" She asked as she beamed me her sweet smile.

Come to think of it, I haven't thank her for everything she did. Without her Luhan and I were cold corps long time ago already. I can't believe that she even tried to fight Crystal back then even she knows that she don't have even a slightest chance to win. She also begged for Kyungsoo to spare our lives, I can't believe that there's such a good friend like her? She'll do everything for the sake of her friends.

"Hey, are you listening? Why are you spacing out there, huh?" She snapped her fingers in front of my face that brought me back to reality. "You must be really tired acting like that?" She snorted as she sexily eat the cherry she was holding. Wait! Did I just thought that she ate that cheery sexily?! W-What the fuck?! When did she have that kind of effect on me. "Should I call Luhan and ask him to read your mind for me?" Nia stated as she narrowed her eyes on me suspiciously.

"H-Huh? Don't!" I stuttered then held her arm to stopped her. She looked down on my hand that's holding her and then to me that snapped me so I immediately released her from my hold. "Sorry." I muttered shyly as I took my glass and took another cube of ice.

"You're thirsty, aren't you?" She asked with her eyebrow raised.

"N-No, I-..." I was cut off when she suddenly pulled me, "Hey Nia! Where do you plan to bring me?!" I shouted as she was drastically pulling me somewhere. She didn't gave me an answer and brought me to the stock room. "H-Hey, what are we doing here?" I nervously asked him though I have an idea already.

"You're thirsty, right? So drink up now." She said casually as she unbutton the first two button of her shirt exposing her neck. I was taken aback with her blunt move, is she this aggressive? "I know you want Crystal but she's not here so bare with it even just now." As she said that I saw little annoyed and sadness on her face.

Why is she being like that? But I don't think asking her now it's not a good idea. I then heaved a sigh then took her wrist, "You suffered so much already because of us, I don't know but are you some kind of masochist, huh Nia?" I asked but before she can answer I licked and bit her wrist already sucking her blood that startled her.

As I pulled out my fangs on her wrist I lifted my head and looked at her, she looked disappointed while I felt unsatisfied yet. I want more, I want more of her blood. Without giving any notice I pulled her and licked her neck gaining a soft sound from her that surprisingly turned me on. I then buried my fangs on her neck and started sucking more blood.

After the closing I went to the kitchen and there I saw Kai washing the dishes alone. Punishment for spacing out while on the middle of working. It's my fault why he's spacing out so, I volunteered to help him though I never did this kind of job in my whole life.

"You don't need to do this, you know?" Kai said as he kept on pushing me away the sink. "Princess don't do this kind of job." He pointed out that made me narrowed my eyes.

"Are you saying that I can't do this simple job, huh?" I retorted in quite annoyed tone, "Kai Kim, don't you underestimate me!" I whined gaining chuckled from him, "What's funny?!" I scowled.

"Nothing, you're just so cute my dear princess." He teased then beamed me a toothy smile. He's taking revenge. "But seriously, you don't need to help me I can handle these all already." He again insisted but I really want to help.

"But didn't I told you earlier that I'll take responsibility?" I reminded and I moved closer to the sink pushing him a little to the side. "You just need to wash this right? It's just simple I can handle this!" I confidently stated then when I took the glass it slid on my hand and broke. "Opps?" I looked at him and he gave me an I-told-you-so face.

I rolled my eyes on him then started picking the shuttered pieces of the glass but because I was far from being klutz I wounded my finger. "Oh, I'm bleeding." I casually said making Kai worried.

"Aist! Crystal, you're such a stubborn brat princess!" He scolded me then he put my wounded finger under the faucet and the water flashed the blood.

I then pulled my hand off him that confused him, "Suck it." I told him with serious face, "Suck the blood." I elaborated.

"W-Why would I do that?! I'm not a vampire like you!" He suddenly covered his loud mouth with his hands then looked around to check if someone heard him. And when he's sure that no one was around and heard him he heaved a deep sigh in relief.

My wound started bleeding again and I placed it in front of his mouth, "You're lucky because I'm letting you have my blood. Do you know that they're a lot there that will kill just to taste my blood?" I proudly told him.

"Those are vampires, Crystal and I'm not one of them." He pointed out then again let out a sigh. "Why do you want me to do this, huh?" He groaned in protest but surprisingly he really did it. He took my hand then sucked my blood. Such a good boy.

"Nothing, I just want to make fun of you." I reasoned out, he took my finger out of his mouth then shot me a glare making me laughed. "Also to dominate you." His eyes twitched with my last words. "Now that I have my blood and scent on you, no one will try to get and touch you. In other word, you're mine now Kai, only mine." As I said those things his face easily heated up and when he felt that he immediately diverted his eyes to the other way making me chuckled. Isn't he so cute?

While I was busy being amuse to Kai's reaction, I smelled a familiar scent that brought a smile to my lips. Finally, those two.
