After that night, things have been awkward between you and Jungkook. You two have talked but haven't really bickered or played around like you usually do. And when you're both in the same room, the air feels heavy as the tension is so strong it could choke you.

It's been two days since the incident. You would think that not talking to him would help with your feelings. Lessen them. Make them go away a bit. But all it did was make them stronger, making you yearn for him more.

You kept these feelings to yourself, not telling anyone, not even Amani. Oh god, especially not Amani. She would not let you live this down. You're not even letting yourself live this down. How could you suddenly be so attracted to Jungkook?

But was it really so sudden? Was there always something you liked about being enemies with Jungkook? And seeing a possibility of you two being something more than that, made you fall?

The thought of Jungkook seeing you at your worst and still choosing to stay by your side, love you, find you attractive. That's what's been clouding your mind lately. The endless possibilities of what this could play out to be.

"Hey. Buttface. What are you zoning out about?" Amani's voice brought you back to reality and snapped you out of your thoughts. You two were sitting in the cafeteria during lunch, no Jungkook to be seen.

"Nothing. I'm just tired." You lied.

"You're always so tired! We should go somewhere tonight!"

"Really? After I just said I was tired. Your first thought was to go somewhere?" You looked at her and raised an eyebrow.

"Wellll.. you don't have a choice. There's a party that literally everyone is going to—"

"Woah woah woah," You interrupt her and hold up your finger to object. "Stop right there. When did we start going to parties? Literally never. So I do have a choice. And my choice is no!"

"And that's exactly why you don't have a choice. It's literally going to be hosted by Taehyung. Like come on, Y/n! I've had a crush on him since like.. the beginning of the school year!" She throws up her arms in disagreement.

"Okay. Notice how YOU have a crush on him. Not me!!"

"Okay but we're literally attached at the hip. If one of us go then we both go!" She argues.

"Literally no. I don't care." You roll your eyes as you take an aggressive bite out of your apple.

"I won't argue. We're going and that's it! Be ready by 8 pm!" And with that, Amani gets up and leaves as the bell rings to go to your next class.

You roll your eyes in defeat.

It was now 7:30 pm and you were currently standing in front of your closet with your hands on your hips while your room was looking like it was just raided by the fbi.

Finding a good outfit for a party has got to be one of the most difficult decisions a teenage girl has to make. I mean you're 17 and you don't even own a dress that doesn't scream "church girl".

You don't even know why you actually agreed to going. Well technically you didn't agree to go. You're being forced... forced by your bestfriend.

To be fair she has been there for you a lot recently, so the least you can do for her is going through hell and back so she can probably "bump" into her crush.

You don't even know what to wear or what kind of party it is. To be fair it is a high school party. It shouldn't be too formal but also not too cozy.

You let out a groan of annoyance as you scavenge through the same clothes you've looked at 100 times by now. You walk away from your closet and flop onto your bed in defeat, covering your hands with your face.
