When the a boyband learns they all are labeled as dropouts except one, they are sent to a school in Los Angeles. Here they have a school wide project called "Battle of the Bands" where everyone in school must get a band together and compete. The winners of the project are all given excellence so that they can graduate. Knowing that this is what the boys need, they pair up with unexpected people to form a huge band. The group must beat the all time champions ever since the project started and they will stop at nothing to win.

So I was thinking this could be like a pitch perfect type story. It just seemed to fit the plot.
