Derek finds a giant bird in a nest in the woods. As soon as he touches it, it goes up in flames and a naked girl stands up from the ashes and seems to be scared for her life. With help from his friends in Beacon Hills, he finds out the girl is a Phoenix. He however, takes her under his wing and forms an unbreakable bond of love and friendship.
