Ranga's pov:
My eyes flutter open and instantly felt panicked. Big strong arms were wrapped around me in an unfamiliar room. Suddenly all my memories from last night come back to me. I feel ashamed, my wife kicked me out yesterday and i was already sleeping with men i didn't know that much about. I quickly skidaddle out of the room and put my clothes back on and run out of the house. Once outside, I take a moment to catch my breath and steady my racing thoughts. The crisp air brushes against my scruffy face, . Without wasting any time, I rush towards my car, desperate to escape and go to a place to gather my shattered emotions. As I drive away, my mind is clouded with a mix of regret, confusion, and uncertainty. I can't help but question my actions and the choices that led me to this moment. I decide to head towards one of my friends' houses. I'm in dire need of someone to talk to, someone who can offer me guidance or even just a listening ear. The drive feels endless as my mind races with countless thoughts and emotions, and I find myself hoping that my friend will be there to provide some form of comfort or support and not too busy snogging his boyfriend.
Obama opens the door to a crying postman pat. Obama invites me inside and I sit down on the couch while he makes me tea. When he sits down next to me he passes me a cup and places it on the table in front of us.Barack, being all chill and understanding, gave me this look, you know, with those empathetic eyes that just get you.
"What's wrong pat"
"Sara kicked me out after i came out to her and then i had naughty time with gru and now i feel bad because she doesn't deserve this""Nahh thats crazzzyyyyy but you shouldn't blame yourself entirely. Relationships are complex, and navigating them can be difficult, especially when discovering your true self."
"I mean i like him but i don't think i should be going this fast when i just got out of a marriage"
"Well, Pat, I think the first step is to apologize. Put yourself in Gru's shoes and imagine how he must feel after you ran off like that," Obama advised, his wisdom shining through his words.
"I'm not ready to see him"
"You can't just ignore him for the rest of your life"
"I won't, i'll just ignore him for like week"
"whatever"
"so can i stay here cause like i'm homeless now"
"Only for tonight, Harry is coming over tomorrow."
"oh em gee! How are you two?!"
" It's been tough not being able to be ourselves and constantly having to hide our true selves to maintain our public image yknow."
"real"The next day pat gets kicked out of obamas house. To make his day even worse, he has to actually do his job and get money. He gets into his truck and drives to the post office .As he sorted through the stacks of letters and packages, Pat couldn't shake off the lingering emotions from the events of the previous night. His mind was preoccupied with thoughts of his failed marriage and the complicated situation with Gru. But he knew he had to put those thoughts aside and focus on his work. He drives his usual route but stops at a street he knows all too well.... deeznuts st... Pat slowly drives to each house, the weight of his own troubles seemed to grow heavier with every mailbox he filled.. He finally gets to Grus house. He grabs the coupons from his bag and slides them into grus mailbox but he must of not been sneaky enough because he hears the front door an hears gru saying his name but pat just walked back to his truck.
" Pat, what happened why did you run off like that?" Frozen with a mix of anxiety and anticipation, Pat turned towards the source of the voice. Gru stood at the doorway, his expression a mix of surprise and curiosity. Instead of facing the man, pat walks back to his truck, quickly jumping in.However, just as he was about to start the engine, he heard hurried footsteps approaching from behind.
"Pat, please... dont go.. dont run from me again.." Pat's heart sank as he saw Gru running after him, tears streaming down his face. Gru's voice quivered with pain as he called out, "Pat, please! Don't go!" Pats grip tightened on the steering wheel, as he drove away the sounds of grus desprat cries echoed through the wind into his ears.Pat caught a glimpse of Gru on the ground, overcome with tears and anguish. The sight pierced his heart, intensifying his feelings of guilt and confusion. As pat continued to drive he coudt help but question if he made te correct descision. The image of gru broken and sobbing lingered on his mind, a painfull reminder of the intimite night they shared. As the distance between them grew, he coudnt shake off the feeling that he had left something meaningfull, a chance at maybe fixing his mistake. As the radio softly played, filling the truck with sad songs that echoed Pat's inner struggle, his black and white cat nestled on the passenger seat. The gentle purring provided a small comfort amidst the whirlwind of emotions, a reminder of the unconditional love and support he had in his life. The cat's presence offered a glimmer of solace, a soothing balm amidst the turbulence in Pat's heart.Despite the inner chaos, Pat gained the courage to concentrate on his job, and to deliver mail with professionalism and dedication to not get fired.
