"The anti-hero, falling for Mr. Good doer, really?" You snorted, slapping your hand on your thigh.
No one else in the room was laughing with you, which caused you to stop laughing. You cleared your throat and sat up straight before slouching again, your legs spread and your elbow on your knee propping up your chin. "Alright minions, what do we have on the wonder boy?"
"He's been consistently going on patrol with Nightwing, it seems they are looking for you, waiting for you to make a move." Your closest alias informed you.
"Any ideas? Maybe blowing up a couple buildings, we could rob a bank?" You suggested with a hand gesture.
You heard a couple of hums in agreement, others saying something along the lines of "seems alright."
"We could use the money," you spoke over the murmurs, and that's what got everyone to agree completely.
"We shall do it!" You stood up, nodding your head.
"I think I'll need only three or four of you, obviously I'm taking you Stevie; I could also take Marc. Stevie, Marc, Jamie-James and Theo, I'm taking the four of you; get ready." You whistled, making a hand gesture before leaving to get ready yourself.
-
"Weapons check, lookin' good, Stevie you brought the snacks, nice-Theo stop messing with Jamie!"
"Sorry boss!"
"Alright, we gotta move, those two idiots gotta be on patrol right about now."
You and your small team moved quickly, blending in with the darkness. In order to get to the bank, you needed to use stealth; it was when you got to the bank when it would get loud.
"Alright Marc, blow this place up man!" You yelled, pointing at the bank in front of you.
"I thought we were just breaking in?" He questioned, his eyebrow raising in confusion.
You groaned, throwing your head back. "Dude just blow up the front, it's for fun, we'll get the money, and you'll take it back to the hideout while I play with wonder boy."
Marc shrugged his shoulders then proceeded to point towards the doors and blew it up.
"This for sure will get their attention," you smirked, waiting for the smoke to subside before getting in.
Once it did, you quickly rushed in to grab the money. You and the guys did it as quickly as possible so they could get out of there.
"Alright, try your best to not drop any, we need the money," you sternly said, pointing to the exit.
They ran off, leaving you alone. A sigh escaped your lips as you pulled your mask off, lighting a cigar before bringing it to your lips. You propped yourself against a table, trying your best to wait patiently for Robin and Nightwing, that is if he decided to join.
After a while of waiting, you began to think they were too busy to look into a simple bank robbery. Your cigar was already out, who knows how long you've been waiting.
You groaned, dropping the cigar and stomping on it before pulling out yet another one. Having a second thoughts about it, you sat down on a swivel chair. I should really quit...Just as you were about to light it, you heard a noise; immediately, you put your mask back on.
Once you realized it was who you were waiting for, your muscles relaxed, and you slouched back into the chair. "Oh, it's you wonder boy; and I see you've brought the other bird boy with you."
"It's Robin, get that into your thick. Hard. Fucking skull." He seethed, that really got to him.
You smirked underneath your mask, knocking on it as a way of mockery. "Look Mr. Robin, I have some business to attend elsewhere. I should've left earlier, you seemed so busy you took eons to get here."
Your legs spread wide as you leaned forward, clasping your hands together and tilting your head; he couldn't see it, but you were scowling under your mask. With a sigh, you stood up, trying to make your way past the two. Robin stuck his arm out, stopping you from getting past them. Slowly, your head turned to look at him menacingly, and the way his face began to contort into something similar to nervousness made something spark inside you.
"I think we have unfinished business, so I'm not letting you leave," he gave you a sarcastic smile.
"Well, I think I should leave you guys alone," Nightwing interrupted your scowling session with each other, spinning around to leave.
"Hey! You can't leave me-"
"Already did!" He chuckled, leaving you.
Robin pulled away, checking to see if he was actually gone before returning to you.
"Alright he's gone," he said, getting your attention.
"Finally," you took your helmet off and grabbed his face, kissing him deeply.
Jason hummed into the kiss, grabbing your hips, pulling you closer to him. When you finally let go, you put your foreheads together, sighing in content. Little did either of you know, the other idiot was out there with the rest of the Bat-Family, giggling like little children.
"Timmy, my twenty bucks please~"
"Dammit!"
