Dead Girls Diary

Chapter two.

I haven't been able to find that boy from lunch and my vision. Its already dismissal, I have this feeling every time i think of what happened. Its a feeling of fright and power, and that boy has something to do with it.
I was suppose to ride home with Sophia, but I told her i had some errands to run and I'll have to catch up with her later.

Now, I'm at the library searching about my 'situation' but all im getting is Zombies, Vampires, The Walking Dead and other words that just mean Zombie and Vampire.

"Thats unusual?" a voice from behind speaks, making me jump. I turn to see the boy from lunch and my eyes widen.

"What is?" I reply, trying my best not to start shouting and questioning him.

"You're conscious." He laughs, obviously not even worried as to why my computer screen is full of mythical Halloween characters. I studied his features and he is extremely attractive - Dark brown hair, eyes that are a gorgeous shade of brown, perfect jaw line. A few minutes later, I realized I was just staring at him like a weirdo.

"Uh.. Yeah." I finally replied, awkwardly. " I'm sorry about that earlier, I don't know what happened."

"Oh its fine. Everyone has their moments." he smiles, making my cheeks flush.

Katherine! Focus he can help you and that's all you need him for.

The voice in my head was right, I don't have time for any blushing, flirting or romance. I just need to become close to this boy so I can figure out what he has to do with why I am the way I am.

"I'm Chase." he introduces his self, not knowing I already kinda knew his name.

"Katherine. I've never seen you around before, you new here?"

"Yeah. Just moved here." his smile lowering, seeming a little moved by his answer.

"Oh really? From where?"

"Uh North Carolina." his eyes started straying, there was something he was hiding and for some reason, unknown, I have to know what.

"So why come to boring old Albany, Ohio?" I gave out a little smirk and pulled out the chair next to me for him to sit. Hoping he would take the offer and gladly he did.

"Parents." he faked a smile, he was lying. I could tell by the way he wouldn't look me in the eye and he started breathing faster.

"And?"

"And what?" he started tightening his hands, obviously nervous.

"And why did your parents move out here?" I waved my hand, motioning for more. He took in a deep breath before he replied.

"Look, it's kind of personal and I'm not allowed to talk about it sorry." he exhaled, letting go of his grip on his hands.

"Sorry. I'm asking to many questions, it's just rare to get to meet new people who are permanently staying in Albany. You are permanently staying right?"

"I think so." he laughed and continued "Hey, how bout you show me around, if you're done with..." he took a glance at my computer, amused by the mythical creatures on the screen. "Your research on the living dead." he laugh.

"Sure." I logged off the computer and grabbed my bag. When I stood up, my head felt light headed and i stumbled into his lap. He grabbed a hold of me out of shock and I looked into his eyes. There was something about him that pulled me closer.

"You okay?" he asked, looking into my eyes, amusement and worried in his voice as he spoke.

"Uh... Yeah I'm fine, just a little light headed." I replied and we sat there for a few minutes just staring at each other before I realized, I was still sitting in his lap with his arms around me. I let out a cough and stood up.

"You um... You wanna go see the dinner?" I asked. Thinking of all the places I coule show him. Then the cliff popped up in my head, I haven't been there since you know. That night just keeps giving me chills and if I visit it I'm not sure how I would handle it.

"Uh sure. I am sorta hungry and it'd be best to eat before you show me around." he awkwardly laughed and I smiled.

This...This could work.

A/n sorry for late update. I've been trying so hard to but I just keep spacing, Its summer omg! My 16th birthday is coming up and I'm beyond excited.

Anyways, What did you think? I know its short but the next chapters won't be I promise. What do you think of chase and Katherine?
