Jealousy

THIRD POV

The family was chilling in the living room, watching whatever Miri picked after they finished their Breakfast.

It was a saturday morning, Kazuki and Rei finally had some time to spend with Miri. They've been busy with their missions lately, but Kyutaro gave them a 2 weeks day off since they've been working so hard and he didn't have much missions to give to them. Well for now.

The blonde had his arms wrapped around rei's waist while the 4-year-old's laying down with her Rei Papa.

The three was enjoying their time until a phone ringed. Miri and Rei looked at the blondes phone confusingly, kazuki picked it up.

"Hello? Not really why?"

"Wha- but! "

"Alright fine, I'll be there in 20."

"What was that?" Rei asked as he saw the blonde sigh in frustration.

"....Kyu-chan wants me to help him with this mission since the men he hired apparently messed it up and.. it got backfired." Kazuki said hesitantly, trying to avoid his lover's gaze.

Rei raised his eyebrow, "But, it's our day off?" Kazuki sighed as he looked at the 4-year-old girl who was too busy watching her show.

"i know, but kyu-chan said it'll be quick. I promise I'll be back home before you know it." Kazuki said, kissing the pouting males cheek.

"now this day is ruined.." Rei muttered. Kazuki chuckled at his behaviour before turning his attention back to Miri.

"Miri, Kazuki papa forgot something at his workplace and I'll go get it okay? I'll be back soon." the blonde said patting the girls head, smiling at her.

"Okay then Kazuki Papa, take care! bye bye!" Miri waved her little-like arms at the blonde as kazuki took his coat off from the rack.

Kazuki glanced at the obviously angry Rei who avoided his gaze, before he waved goodbye to Miri, as he walked on his way out of the apartment.

Rei's POV

'seriously out of all times why does he have to go now?' I thought.

"We barely spend time with each other since we were busy with our jobs for awhile, and we were finally able to. But now Kyutaro suddenly calls him and interrupts our day? Tch, like hell." I rant as Miri looked at me confusingly.

"Rei papa whatcha talking about?" Miri asked.

I sigh in frustration and shaked my head as I hand her the gaming control. "It's nothing miri, let's just play until Kazuki gets back." I say as I started to try and get my mind off the thought.

"Okay! But I'm not gonna let you win this time Rei Papa!" Miri smirked as I just looked at her funny.

"yeah yeah whatever you say child."

Few hours later

'Seriously, what is taking Kazuki so long? It's almost time for dinner. Be back soon my ass.' I thought.

"Hey Rei Papa, I'm getting hungry... when will Kazuki Papa come back?" Miri whined as I could hear her stomach growl.

"I don't know either, should I order some pizza?" I asked, grabbing my phone.

"But I wanna eat outside..!" Miri complained as I just sighed at her.

"But I kinda don't wanna.." I whined. I'm honestly too tired to do anything right now, thinking about how Kazuki ruined our rest day, it made me even more tired and lazy.
