horrid henry x rude ralph

Chapter 14

Henrys pov:

Ralph picked me up, like how a mother carries their child. He then placed me on his bed, he lied down next to me and put his arms around my waist.

"U feeling better hen?" Ralph whispered to me.

"Yeah my head just hurts" I whispered back while rubbing my head.

Ralph fell asleep before me, and then i slowly fell asleep.

No ones pov:

It was morning, they were both still sleeping. Something then started tickling ralphs nose.

Ralphs pov:

I groaned, i opened my eyes to see something fluffy?

"Henry?" I whispered to him, trying to wake him up.

Henry then yawned and stretched.

"What is it ralph?" He said looking at me.

Thats when i realised he had cat ears.
'Does that mean he has a tail?' I thought, still confused.

"Hen, go look in the mirror" I said to him. He just walked over to the mirror and saw his ears. His eyes went wide.

I got up and stood behind him. 'Does he feel anything if i touch them?' I wondered.

So i touched them and he just winced.

"Hey hen, u also have a tail or something?" I asked him.

"Uh im not sure" He replied.

I smiled and started playing with his ears. U could hear him purring. I stopped.

"Hen, do u purr now?" I said.

Henrys face turned a light pink. I started laughing.

"Come on henry, lets get something to eat." I said.

'Since he has cat features does that mean hes got those cat fangs?' i thought to myself. When we were at the kitchen i turned him around.

"Hen, stick out ur tongue for me" I said. So he did what i said, he stuck out his tongue.

U could see the confusion in his eyes. I then see that he did have fangs, exactly like cats do.

"U can close ur mouth now" I said.

He closed his mouth and walked over to the table, sat on a chair and put his head on the table.

Henrys pov:

As i was watching ralph get the bowls and cereal, i could feel something moving behind me. 'What is that?' I thought. I turned my head and saw something fluffy coming out from under ralphs jacket i was wearing. I touched it and then i flinched. 'Is that my tail??' I thought. And then it came out, it was really fluffy and the same colour as my hair.

"So u do have a tail" Ralph said to me. "Anyway what cereal do u want?"

"Um what cereals can i choose from?" I asked.

"Theres cornflakes and cheerios" He replied.

"Can i have cheerios?"

"Sure" He said as he walked to the table and poured the cereal and milk into the bowls.

He then gave me my bowl and i began to eat it.

"So do u think whatever margaret put in ur drink caused u to have cat features?" He questioned, he was still confused about the whole situation.

"I mean that could be the only logical explanation to this" I said, "We cant go to a doctor about it as well."

"Yeah but we can ask margaret" Ralph said finishing his cereal.

"We can do that, let me just finish eating and then we can go." I said shoving the rest of the cereal in my mouth.

Ralph ran upstairs and came back down with joggers and a hat for henry.

"Come on" ralph said grabbing my hand.

We went out the house and walked to margarets house. We finally arrived and ralph knocked on the door. Margarets mum answered the door.

"Oh hi, are u here for margaret?" She said with a smile.

"Yeah we just need to talk to her thats all" Ralph answered.

"Oh come on in, dont want to keep u outside in the cold" She said. "MARGARET SOMEONES HERE FOR U!!"

"Coming!" Margaret said running down the stairs. "Oh its u".

"Margaret we need to talk" Ralph said.

"Alright, lets go to my treehouse and talk." She said walking to her treehouse.

We all went in and sat down on some beanbags.

"Im guessing u want to talk about what i put in henrys drink a few days ago?" Margaret asked as she grabbed her drink.

We just nodded.

No ones pov:

Henry then took off the hat and showed margaret the cat ears.

"Ooh about that, that is a side effect but it rarely happens. I mean its not all bad if u think about it." Said margaret leaning back in her seat, drinking her water.

"Why did u even put that in his drink?" Ralph said with anger in his tone.

"I just thought it would be fun, thats all." Margaret replied back.

Henry could see ralph getting angry so he just hugged him trying to calm him down.

"Ralph calm down, please" Henry said looking up at ralph, his ears drooping.

"Sorry henry" Ralph said with a slight smile and hugged him back.

They let go of each other, got up and asked margaret one more thing.

"Do u know how to make him turn normal again?" Ralph asked.

"No, at least i dont think so." Margaret replied.

Henry and ralph walked out the treehouse and went into henrys backgarden through the fence.

"Henry i gotta do something at my house before my parents come back." Ralph said before waving at him.

"Bye ralph" Henry said waving back at him.
