Day 4 - Flirting and Dating

*Bzzt Bzzt*

The message sound made Fourth turn to take his phone while he was almost about to sleep.

G: So when can I give my notes to you?

Fourth couldn't help but smile recalling the little scene he made in front of Nook.

F: Keep it safe with you. I will ask when I need it.

He shook his head and kept the phone aside. He was again to go to sleep when the phone beeped again.

G: So will you protect it again if someone asks for it?

Fourth pressed his lips. This was new. Usually his chat with Gemini would be a two-word message to-and-fro. But to receive such a message right now, this definitely seems like a progress on the trial.

F: Are you sure you want me to?

This time Fourth kept his phone in his hand anticipating a response.

G: Only if my boyfriend wants to.

That's it. Fourth turned his face into the pillow and chuckled hard. As much as it was funny coming from his best friend, he was also feeling giddy.

He took a moment to calm down and typed again.

F: Your boyfriend wants to know if you hit your head somewhere?

The phone beeped within seconds.

G: The last time I checked, I was trying to hit on my boyfriend. ;-)

Fourth smiled and realized that in the TRIAL, Gemini has been trying his level best. So he should try too. If nothing, then at least for the butterflies in his stomach.

F: Take care of my boyfriend for tonight. Tomorrow I will meet him with an ice-pack :-P

G: I am suddenly feeling much better. Sweet dreams!

F: Good night!!!

The next day Gemini walked to their usual seat in the class after they finished their lunch.

Fourth followed him into the class and sat beside him.

"Why are we attending bio?" Fourth whispered.

"Because I want to sit close to you." Gemini replied whispering sending shiver down Fourth's spine. It was only Bio's class where the benches were congested and required people to sit closed up together in a pair of two each.

He looked up at Gemini and found him intensely looking at him with a brief smile lingering on the corner of his lips.

He nervously looked away. Gemini patted his shoulder.

"Yes?" Fourth asked without looking at him. He was afraid that Gemini will see through his flushed face.

"Let's go out today after class?"

"Huh?"

"On a date."

Both the friends were waiting in the line of movie tickets when Gemini smiled at Fourth. "Go and wait there. I'll get the tickets." He said.

"Why should you be the one paying? You are always in queue for food too." Fourth pouted.

"Why not? Let me take care of you." Gemini said. He looked at Fourth's face and he couldn't stop smiling at him.

"Stop smiling first of all." Fourth snapped a bit flustered. "And why can't I be the one taking care of you?"

Gemini raised his hand and pointed at Fourth's face. "You can take care of your almost red face for now. It's distracting me."

Fourth gaped at him and immediately looked away while Gemini chuckled. Fourth decided to stay calm. He cannot let Gemini have the upper hand. But he is clueless as to why and how Gemini is able to behave the way he is behaving.

Fourth turned to look at Gemini again and took a step closer to him almost whispering into his ear. "The question is; why can't I make your face red like this?"

Gemini gulped and closed his eyes. "If you take a step back now, you will be able to see it. Because you shouldn't be doing this in public."

"Doing what?" Fourth took a step back and saw Gemini's face. He raised his brows at him seeing him all flustered and a smile crept on his face.

"S-standing so close to me." Gemini said looking away.

Fourth grinned. "That's better. I thought, I was the only one falling for..." He stopped immediately looking at Gemini.

Gemini tilted his head. "Falling for?"

Fourth simply smiled and Gemini chuckled.

"I'll get the popcorn." Fourth said and walked away unable to hide his grin. Gemini took a deep breath and bit his lips unable to stop smiling himself.

"Which movie?" The counter guy asked Gemini.

"Any romantic one with two corner seats." Gemini replied.
