chapter 9 bye bye baby

20 minutes before the time jumpers get to jack's house

"let's finish this Richard" just us shouts jack

Richard grins maliciously and charges at Jack with his powers fully activated. Jack and Richard exchange powerful blows and energy blasts, causing the house to shake and walls to crack.

As they fight, Jack realizes the paradox is way too strong for him  to handle on his own but he is keen to stop him on his own

"Think, Jack, think," he mutters to himself, Richard then punches him sending him to the ground

Richard would pick him up by his neck

And say "you really think you're going to beat me by yourself come on jack you're human a pathetic stupid human "  Richard says as he throws him through the walls that have cracks on it causing them to break and crumble and most the house to start falling apart as this happens

Jack struggles to get back up, trying to gather his thoughts and come up with a plan. He knows he can't defeat Richard on his own, but he can't just let him get away with causing chaos.

Richard would walks up to a still knocked out Deliah in the kitchen

Looks like you're out of luck, Jack. Your little wife  is unconscious," Richard taunts as he picks up Deliah's limp body. "But don't worry, I won't kill her... yet."

Jack shouts  "leave her alone"

"You've got bigger problems to worry about than your stupid wife," Richard dismisses him, throwing Deliah over his shoulder. "I'm going to destroy everything you care about. you're son  you're friends I have that much power jack" he shouts

Jack grits his teeth and charges towards Richard, Richard easily deflects Jack's attack and delivers a powerful blow to his stomach, sending Jack flying back. over the record table they had as jack is on the ground he sees a tool box

He quickly crawls towards it and rummages through it for anything he can use to defeat Richard. 

Jack quickly starts constructing a makeshift weapon, a nail gun.

As Richard approaches him again, Jack springs up and unleashes a barrage of nails at Richard. Surprised by the attack, Richard dodges some but is hit by others some hitting his hand when he takes them out he sees the blood and this just rages the paradox more

"You'll pay for that, Jack!" Richard screams, his eyes glowing with fury.

The two engage in an epic battle once more, but this time, Jack has a new weapon, the nail gun. He manages to land a few hits on Richard, causing him to stagger, but Richard's powers are too strong for the nails to do any real damage.

"I will destroy you, Jack!" Richard bellows, throwing a wave of energy at him.

It hits jack and he goes flying outside the house

As Jack struggles to get back up he hears a faint humming sound as Richard walks  it's Richard humming while dragging Deliah out the house

Deliah shouts "jack help"

Jack grits his teeth and stands up, determined to not let Richard kill his wife

Richard would throw Deliah in front of jack  and say " the choice is yours jack beat me or watch me kill you're wife right here in front of you just like I did with MC"

Jack's heart sinks at the mention of his wife being killed  but he does not let it distract him from the task at hand. He knows what he has to do.

Before jack walks to Richard Deliah would crawl to jack and grab his leg and says

" jack just stop he is too strong you can't stop him just go be happy in new York live the life we wanted with Hendrix teach him how to play guitar make music and be the father you always wanted to be jack I love you  but please stay safe this isn't safe for you just turn around and run in that truck and go to NYC take Hendrix with you goodbye jack I lov-" she tries to finish her sentence but Richard would shoot a beam at her head cutting it in two

Jack would get on his knees and cry as the song there would be sad songs by Billy Ocean starts playing on the vinyl that's in the house that's still playing

Jack stands up with the blood of his wife in his hand and tears down his face and stares at Richard at this moment MC Ajax ash and violet would show up

MC would go up to jack and tap his shoulder and say " jack listen man I'm sorry about the way i acted" he explains

Jack would look at him and say " it's fine man I know how it feels now to have your wife die but I see how yall have powers now"

Ajax replies" oh yeah buddy you have one too man"

Jack would take the suit and press the button on it as it attached itself to him

Ash says "you have flight powers energy beam powers and super strength"

Jack smirks and fly's into Richard with a charge attack as they fly up into the sky

Ajax says" this is it guys the final battle we wants let's end this"

MC" we deserve this "

As more FBI agents run to the streets of Texas the time jumpers looks at them and starts to fight them
