Maheshwaris! Name known to Rajasthan since centuries as rulers of Jodhpur. After the death of their beloved Rana, Rajmata took in charge of the kingdom, treating it as her own child, ruling Jodhpur. She ruled in peace and humility and soon the responsibilities were passed over to her elder son and daughter-in law as per their custom.
In the extravagant dining hall of the raj mahal, on to the right-hand side of the head chair sat Devki Vasudev Maheshwari the present Queen Of Jodhpur alongside her husband Vasudev Maheshwari, the current King of Jodhpur. On the left sat Anjali Mukund Maheshwari and Mukund Maheshwari. Beside them Yamini and Yug Singhania, daughter and son in law of the family were all having breakfast that was set by the house helps.
