Chapter twenty six:

The next morning I went straight to the hospital wing to visit Draco. I sat there next to him as he slept. I remembered everything that has happened yesterday, harry was right, dracos a death eater...

But that still doesn't change how I feel.

I know what I said yesterday.

"What are you doing here" I heard dracos voice not noticing that he woke up.

"Good morning to you too, I just thought I'd visit, how are you feeling?" I smiled.

"I'm alright, but doesn't answer my question, why are you here, you saw what you saw yesterday, the monster I am" he said not making eye contact.

"And I said what I said yesterday draco, I love you, and I mean every word. Why won't you just accept that" I complained.

I could hear his heart racing.

He didn't say anything.

Just say there and admired me for a long time.

"Draco, you need to get some rest, I'll go get you something to eat please sleep" he smiled at that. I got up getting ready to leave.

"I love you too" he whispered.

What is he saying? Maybe I'm just hallucinating, draco would never love me, if he did he wouldn't be avoiding me and not going to the Christmas party with me.

I continued walking.

" I know you love him."

I heard a voice behind me as I walked in the empty corridors. I turned around to see Hermione.

"You might have convinced Ron and the others to think your over him, but not me" she smiled.

"Your falling for him more and more everyday, I see the way he looks at you, he loves you" she said looking at me.

I didn't know what to say.

"Oh" I replied speechless

"Please don't tell them Hermione, it's better this way, if they don't know" I begged

"Of course, your secret is safe with me" she smiled. "Where you going? Want to hang out with me in the library?" She added

"Oh Hermione, I'd love to but you see I have to go get some food for draco, he hasn't eaten all day" I smiled.

"Oh that's alright maybe next time," she smirked.

I made my way down the corridor to the kitchens and grabbed treacle tart, dracos favorite.

I walked back up to the hospital wing and saw draco laying in bed alone.

Thankfully he was awake.

"Draco, look what I got you" I said handing the food over to him.

"oh, thanks" the look on his face showed that he hadn't been eating in a while. His face was pale.

" Draco when was the last time youve eaten properly?" I asked.

"Just a couple weeks" he murmured under his breathe.

"Thanks for letting me know, now you have to eat all of this" I gave him a sarcastic smile. He rolled his eyes smiling.

" Good night draco, "
