Y/n was back in bed laying next to Ruby.
Ruby: Y/n, what do you suppose that we do about Ironwood?
Y/n: I'm positivity sure that he can see to reason. I know that there is a way that we can get to him. You have to let me handle this.
Ruby: Y/n, no, it could be too dangerous. Please, I don't you to get hurt.
Y/n: I promise Ruby. Because I don't plan on getting hurt like that. His semblance is what is putting him through these choices. And there is a way that we can reason with him through this. James is a reasonable man, I'm sure that I could make him come to his senses. You just have to trust me.
Ruby then looked at him. She wanted to trust him but it could be way too dangerous for that.
Ruby: Fine.
Y/n: Thank you, Ruby. I'm glad that I've still got you.
Cuts to back to Atlas.
Marrow: So, this whole blowing up Mantle, is just a bluff right?
Carson: I'm afraid not. But this is the only way. This isn't something that I want but it have to be done!
Marrow: Doing Salem's job for her? That is something that have to be done?! We're just proving ourselves to be no better than her!
Carson: Marrow, the general have given his orders.
Marrow: So we're so supposed blindly follow orders, while he's gonna bomb an entire city?
Carson: It doesn't mean that he will see through this.
The door behind them opens which grant Ironwood and Winter access to the room.
Ironwood: Good, you're here. I need a squad of drones to drop the payload.
Winter: Sir, what for?
Ironwood: I believe that I was clear in the broadcast. If they give me a reason, I will remove Mantle from the equation.
Everyone looked shocked as he continued.
Ironwood: This is how we save Atlas.
Just when he was about to exit, Marrow walked towards him.
Marrow: You call this saving Atlas? By doing Salem's job for her? I believed in you! I thought we could work towards something better. But now you're throwing it all away.
Carson: Listen, Marrow. This could be the only way! They made their choice and they have put all of us in a difficult position by refusing to cooperate. This could be the only way.
Vine: Carson's right. If this is the only way to get the children's to cooperate then it is worth it.
Elm: I don't like it either but the top is priority is...
Marrow: (To Ironwood) Do you even believe what you're saying anymore?(to everyone else) Do any of you believe in anything? I used to wear this rank with pride. Now I see for what it really is. A collar.
He then walked away from the others and Ironwood. He then suddenly heard a gun cocks behind before he was then punched in the face by Winter.
Winter: You want a collar? Fine.
She picks up and holds Marrow.
Winter: I'll throw this traitor in the brig where he belongs.
Winter then began to take Marrow away.
Cuts back to the others.
Y/n: If we had cooperated with Ironwood in the first place then none of this wouldn't have happened. We wouldn't have been taking sides and then we all would have been as one.
