Lesso's POV

After dismissing Sophie and Tedros to their trial, Clarissa and I walked the halls together.

"You know, Lesso, this reminds me of when we were young," Clarissa said to me.

"We were actually in love, princess. We won our Trial." I said.

"You don't believe they are in love?"

"No. Sophie is not the same person as before. She has stopped denying her place as a Never. It's almost like she is truly evil. I think she is using him to gain control of some kind."

"Agatha seems to like him, but she'll ignore her heart for Sophie to be happy. I do agree, Sophie is different."

"Yuba once said something that stuck with me. Only the best evil can disguise as good."

"You think that Sophie..."

"She lived her life with a princess mentality but unlike a real princess, she is vain and greedy."

"Agatha on the other hand lives with a witch mentality, but shows kindness, selflessness, and empathy."

"There was no mistake, Clarissa. They are where they belong and what's worse is they are each other's opposite. They are best friends, but what is to stop them from becoming enemies? I fear that Sophie is dangerous."

"That's what everyone said about you, back during our school years."

"Everyone but you. I was manipulated and I hurt you. I'm sorry. I never said it, but I mean it." I looked down. She grabbed my face and kissed me.

"I need a distraction from the trial." She mumbled.

"Does this mean you forgive me?" I ask.

"No. It just means I haven't been touched since we broke up and I need some relief." She said. I didn't argue. I carried her to her dorm, seeing as how it was the closest.

I sat her down on the bed and used my magic to remove our clothes. I also got rid of the nails on my right hand. She grabbed me and without warning, she thrusted her fingers into me. I let out a cry of pleasure. I returned the favor and slammed my fingers into her, eliciting a long moan. We each thrusted our fingers in one another moaning each other's names. We reached our release at the same time and we're left gasping for air.

"Well, talk about a quickie." I laughed.

"Oh shut up! This never happened." She used her magic to dress us.

"You still know how to make me scream, I'll admit that was great."

"Well, I agree. Thank you for helping me with my needs." She was cold again. I knew she felt regret and I just wished I could fix what I broke between us.

Before I could respond, there was a knock. Clarissa went to answer it. Emma stood there with a look of urgency.

"Dovey, Lesso, you two need to take care of something."

"What happened, Emma?"

"Sophie and Agatha happened. Tedros said Agatha helped Sophie."

"Sophie will be locked in her room till I can construct a higher punishment."

"Manley already had the wolves take her and lock her in the dorm."

"I will return to my school and consider her punishment," I said leaving.

Dovey's POV

Lesso left and I went to wait for Agatha. She returned and looked defeated. She explained that she wanted to talk to Sophie and we got into a discussion over the rules. She mentioned there being actual danger. I laughed saying Sophie was hardly dangerous.

"Not Sophie, Rafal!" She snapped. I felt as though the world has tumbled down on me. Of course, he would be mentioned after my moment of weakness with Lesso.

"What did you say?" I asked. She said she had seen him in the school.

"...so did Lady Lesso. Didn't she tell you?" That's when it all came crashing back.

"Lesso! I should have known!" I said beg dragged Agatha with me to find Emma. The three of us went to Lesso's office.

"You knew Rafal was here, in the school, and you told no one!?" I yell.

"Ah, must have slipped my mind." She said smugly.

"Oh, I see. The soul of wickedness itself just slipped your mind, Lesso!"

"I'm the Dean of the School for Evil. Does that suggest anything to you?"

An argument broke out and Lesso got Emma started on a tangent. She smirked and flexed her hands showing me her right hand. Her nails were still missing. I give her a stern look but feel slightly aroused. The schoolmaster walked in and it was evident that Lesso had still fallen for Rafal's manipulation.  We all went to find Sophie and stop her from making the same mistake.

"I can't believe you, Lesso." I scolded.

"Clarissa, wait! Seeing him threw me off. I don't know how but it was like he was twisting my feelings around again. I meant what I said to you earlier."

"I don't believe you, not anymore," I said.

"Dammit, Clarissa, you will never know..."

"What? I'll never know what?"

"What I risked to save you. Everyone lied to you about that day, including me. After you blacked out, I attacked Rafal. He struck me and  I was injured. I carried you to the hospital wing and asked that the rules be changed back and that you never know what I did." She tells me.

"Lesso..."

"I'm going to see if I can find Sophie in the library." She said before walking away. After a moment, I decide to follow. I walk in to see Sophie belittling Lesso, and tearing her down.

"What has he promised you?" She asked Sophie. I walked over.

"And what have you promised him."

"Oh, you're both such dolls to ask." Sophie cackled before using her magic, but rather than an orange glow, her finger emitted blood magic. Next thing I know, Lesso and I are frozen and transformed into little wooden dolls. The fear that I saw on Lesso's face was undeniable. We were soon joined by the rest of the staff. All of us screamed for help.
