He Only Has Eyes For You

You can't believe it, they want you back when they know how Jungkook left things between you. You just sit there dumbfounded staring at him. "They want me back with them . . . with JK around? Min I don't think it will work."

Min says "I have it on very good authority that it will be most beneficial to your heart if you did." he leans towards you and grins.

 Cautiously you look at him "What do you mean?"

He adjusts the fork on the table then looks back at you, "Someone has been talking about you and bringing you up almost everyday in conversation. I . . . me and several of the others knew he had been crushing on you ever since he met you."

 Suddenly you heart leaps and you're not sure why, you lean closer to Min as he continues.

"He thought Jungkook had your heart, so he kept his feelings to himself. Several months after returning to Korea he found out what Jungkook had done and we believe he confronted him about it.  They hardly talked to each other for several days but then things between the two returned to normal. It was around that time Jungkook's attitude started changing."

You frown then you smile and look at Min, "Tae!?" 

He nods and you tell him, "The others have stayed in touch with me in some form or another. Jin even kept me up to date on all of his dad jokes." You laugh as does Min. "Yet I got nothing from Jungkook. He was no busier than the rest of them, why didn't he at least apologize?"

He shakes his head, "I don't know the answer to that. You two need to talk, but first I need to know . . . " he pauses as he reaches inside his coat pocket and pulls out an envelope, "Will you come back to Korea with us?" He pulls it partially open and inside was a plane ticket.

You don't immediately take it because you can't pull your eyes away from someone who is walking towards the table. Min notices and puts the ticket envelope down on the table and looks over his shoulder, then back at you.

 "Oh, yeah, um there was something I forgot to mention . . ."

He stands to leave as Taehyung comes to the table. They acknowledge each other and Min leaves without a word to you.

You roll your eyes, it seems men just keep walking away without a word, you mumble "Why do they always leave me without at least saying good bye."

 Tae sits and looks at you smiling, "What was that?"

You shake the cobwebs of confusion out of your head, "Oh, nothing, just talking out loud."

 You smile brightly at Tae and reach out to take the hand he is holding out to you. He gives your hand a little squeeze. "I've missed you Anne. We all have. Coming to DC at the same time had to be fate."

"I've missed you too Taetae. I was here to photograph your visit to the White House, but at the last minuet my boss pulled me from that assignment. I was glad because . . . um." you can't even look him in the eyes.

"I know why, it's ok."

He notices the ticket envelope on the table. He lets go of your hand and picks it up and hands it to you, "Please?"

 You look at him then back at the envelope. Just then the waiter returns with your food and he places the envelope back on the table but closer to you.

Tae sits back as a plate is placed in front of him after yours. "MMm, just what I ordered." You suddenly look at him and he grins "I set this up." He smiles his sexy boxy smile and you can't help but to smile back at him.

"Tae what are you doing here?"

 He grins and says as he puts a piece of steak in his mouth and mumbles, "I'm eating my steak, I'm starving."

You laugh and start to cut your steak, "I have truly missed you Tae." 

He pauses chewing and as he watches you put a fork full of steak in your mouth, he starts to chew again and says "So, you are coming back with us?" he swallows then takes a drink of water looking expectantly at you.
