"Why, what do you have up your sleeve Chase?" I raised an eyebrow at my new friend.

"I say we test a theory, see if Joe really has no feelings towards you anymore." He smirked mischievously.

"Ja'Marr what in the world are you talking about?" I laughed nervously.

"Just trust me and go along with everything." He nodded his head.

"Okay whatever you say." I shrugged, what's the worst that could happen?

"We aren't trying to piss him off, let's just see what Burrow's reaction is in the coming days." Ja'Marr smirked.

"I'll just follow your lead." I laughed.

We spent another hour just laughing and talking about our childhood, Ja'Marr was so interested in how Zac raised us. But honestly my dad was awesome and I couldn't ask for a better one, he made us learn how to work hard and prove those around you wrong. Ja'Marr was the sweetest guy and so down to Earth, I can definitely see us becoming really good friends.

The rest of my two weeks with OSU was pretty slow, not a whole lot was going on since the season hasn't necessarily started. It made my last days on the job quite easy, and I was going to miss this place. Maybe working with my dad wouldn't be the right job for me though and I could come back to OSU, especially if things with Joe didn't settle down. Speaking of Joe, Ja'Marr still hasn't shared his plan with me on how we are supposed to make him jealous.

Tonight was Logan Wilsons birthday party that the team was throwing at Sam's house, it was supposed to be a big barbecue. Ja'Marr told me tonight was show time on the whole operation make Joe jealous, so whatever plan he had I guess tonight was the night. I got Logan a couple golf accessories since I knew he liked playing, and was waiting for Ja'Marr to come pick me up.

Most of the Bengals team would be there plus their significant other, so I really hoped nothing got to crazy today. I still didn't know all the girlfriends to well so I wanted to hang out with them and become friends.

I got a text from Ja'Marr saying he was outside waiting for me, I grabbed my purse and Logan's present and locked my door. I was wearing skinny jeans and a hot pink tank top bodysuit, it was very hot in Ohio right now even for it being late afternoon.

"Hey Em!" Ja'Marr smiled brightly when I entered his car.

"Hey J." I smiled back at him.

"Ready to go?" He asked making sure I was buckled in before he slowly pulled away from my place.

"Ready as I will ever be, you're really the only one I know really well. Once I start there full time next week that will change but I'm still nervous to hang out with everyone tonight." I sighed.

"Hey everyone likes having you around." Ja'Marr smiled.

"Except Joe." I laughed.

"Well we will see about that." He laughed with me.

"No, no tell me your plan Ja'Marr. I don't wanna walk in and be blind sided by something that you planned." I begged him.

"Fine, but promise you will still go with it?" He stuck his bottom lip out at me.

"Ugh fine I still promise." I shook my head at his silly face.

"Okay, I got Sam Hubbard in on this.." He started and looked over at me to see my reaction.

"Ja'Marr! No!" I put my head in my hands. This was so embarrassing already.

"Hear me out, he is excited to be apart of it and help! Okay so Sam is going to act like he's been taking you out and you guys have to be kind of flirty. Sam is totally in on this and he is down to flirt with you in front of Joe. Then we will see how Joe reacts, cause me personally I don't think he hates you like he says he does." Ja'Marr shrugged at me.
