I put my phone down to prepare for the gala. It was being thrown by the Italian President as a charity fundraiser. I slipped into a floor-length, fitted black gown. Like usual I kept my make natural and opt-ed for just my star necklace. I stretched my neck and rolled my shoulders before sending Charles a quick picture.

He hadn't responded by the time I made it to the venue or walked down the red carpet, posing for photos and answering a few questions. Most of them focused on how I had been missing in action so to speak in the media and then suddenly appeared with the drivers. I just laughed them all off and explained that I had been taking some time for myself and of course I mentioned how incredibly nice the drivers had been and how happy I was to have met them. I greeted the president who thanked me for coming and supporting this charity that focused on helping children get adopted.
