Aether's POV:
"..Lumine?"
I was shocked, that was lumines voice... but why did she kidnap me?
"Hello, Aether."
"Where am I..?"
"We're at the Ruins of Khaenri'ah."
..Did I hear that right, Ruins of Khaenri'ah?
"The Ruins..? Why are we here? How did yo-"
"This is where the abyss seeks refuge, so why wouldn't I bring you here?"
"You still rule the abyss as their princess, don't you."
"There is some things I must do, so you'll be staying here, don't think of escaping."
Lumine walked away from me, I watched as she left the room
She still has me tied up, she really doesn't want me leaving, does she.
..Unlucky for her though.
"Hey.. Xiao?"
Xiao almost immediately appeared
"TRAVELER!"
"Be quiet!" - I quietly raised my voice
Xiao ran over to me, noticing the ropes and begins to untie me, except, it's not as easy as it looks.
"Xiao, I don't think it's that easy to be able to untie those."
"Nonsense, Traveler." - He looked up at me, while I had a nervous look.
"I'll be able to untie you, don't worry."
I knew Xiao was just trying to reassure me, but something still felt off.
An Abyss Mage appeared
"Xiao! There's an Abyss Mage!"
"of course there is." - he mumbled under his breath as he stood up
Xiao charged at the Abyss Mage with his polearm, hitting it with a few attacks, as it's shield nearly breaks before it disappears.
"Where the hell did it go."
I looked around, not seeing any sign of it.
"Xiao.. it's alright, I don't think it'll bother us now."
Xiao sighed, he walks back over to Aether, now trying to use the polearm to help loosen the ropes.
Lumine then walked in
"So I see you had something else up your sleeve instead, Aether."
Xiao immediately stopped and turned towards Lumine.
"...."
"If you're wondering how I know that he's here, let's say the Abyss Mage told me."
"You're the Princess of the Abyss, aren't you."
"Good observation, I am." - Lumine had a slight smile
"Now I suggest you leave or one of you are going to get hurt."
"I'm not leaving him here in your hands."
"As you wish."
Lumine took her sword out
"Xiao! Don't fight her!"
I raised my voice a bit
