Aether's POV:

I woke up in Wangshu Inn, with Xiao holding me in his arms, Paimon was sleeping in between us both, I smiled than freed myself from Xiao's hold and sat up, looking around the room for a moment, remembering the events of yesterday that had happened, I was still very exhausted from the mental breakdown I had, but I knew it was time I got up anyways, the sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon, I got up, making my way over to the window as I watched the sunrise with a overwhelming sense of peace coursing through my entire body, as I finally relaxed, I suddenly heard the bed creak a little, as I turned my attention to Xiao whom was now stirring awake, I walked over to him, ruffling his hair a little as he tried to wake himself up.

"Good morning, sleepyhead.." 

He looks up at me with a subtle smile.
"Good morning, Aether.."

I sat beside Xiao, he took that moment to lay his head on my shoulder, I could tell he was very tired, because he was having trouble keeping himself awake, I don't blame him, we had a very long day yesterday, and probably will have a day today just as long, how being important to this world is so tiring.

"How was your sleep?"

I waited for a moment to hear his response, only to realize he fell back asleep, I smiled, that's okay, he doesn't have to stay awake right now.
I laid him down on the bed, putting the covers over him as he peacefully slept, then I happen to notice Paimon waking up herself now.

"Oh? Good morning, Paimon."
Paimon looked up at me than stretched, before getting herself up and began floating again.

"Good morning, Traveler!!"
I noticed the gleeful smile on Paimon's face, I suppose she had a good sleep?

"I hope your sleep was good, you seem very happy."

"IT WASSSS" Paimon replied almost in an instant, catching me off guard.
"PAIMON DREAMED OF STICKY HONEY ROAST!!! But now Paimon's hungry.."

I laughed, of course she was hungry, that was Paimon for you..
"Well we can go get some food, if you'd like."

"OMGGG YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS"

"Alright alright, let me let Xiao know."
I tapped Xiao on the shoulder, he stirred awake slightly, looking at me.

"Sorry to wake you up, but me and Paimon are going to go get food, do you want anything?"

"mmm... No, I'm fine."

I nod, as Xiao fell back asleep shortly after.
"Alright, come on Paimon."

"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Paimon zoomed out of the room, quite obvious that she was excited..
