chapter 7: waiting

Gaege POV:

After me and Eddie hung up, I started to cry. I was under so much stress and really upset.

All of the sudden, I hear screaming.

"I NEED HELP! SHE'S LOOSING PULSE!"

"CODE BLUE! CODE BLUE!"

A bunch of doctors and nurses ran into y/n's room.

I freaked out and ran to the door, but the doctors pushed me out. They wouldn't let me see her.

Meanwhile~

Eddie's POV:

Me and Gabby had just landed when my phone started going off. I pull it out while trying to rush to get our bags.

~Missed call from Gaege~

I called Gaege back as we gathered our bags.

E: Hey. What's going on bro?

G: I'm freaking out man. They called a code blue and a lot of doctors ran to her room. They said she lost a pulse. I don't know what the fuck I'm supposed to do. They won't let me go in there.

E: Hey. Calm down man. Me and Gabby are about to get a rental car and get there as soon as we can.

G: I don't know how the fuck I'm supposed to calm down when the most beautiful girl in the fucking world has no fucking pulse man!

E: Perra. Cuida tu maldito tono conmigo antes de que te golpee con una chancla. (Bitch. Watch your fucking tone with me before i hit you with a chancla)

G: Ayy man, you know I don't speak taco Bell.

E: I thought you would calm down after I said that in Spanish.

G: How much longer before you get here?

E: Well, according to our maps, it should be at least 30 minutes.

G: Ok. Ima go now. Just please try to get here as soon as you can.

E: I will fool.

G: Ok. Bye.

E: Bye bro.

Then Gaege hung up.

"They called a code blue on y/n," I told Gabby.

"Ohhh. That's why he yelled and you spoke Spanish. Gotcha," Gabby said with a giggle.

Gaege POV:

After me and Eddie hung up, all the nurses and doctors came out of y/n's room.

I stood up and walked over to the door. I asked if I could come in, and they told me for only a second.

I walked over to her and she was passed out. I grabbed her hand and held it. I just stood there looking at her weak, pale form, admiring the beauty she still withheld even after everything that's happened.

I started crying and apologizing for what happened. I then kissed her on the forehead. Then kissed her hand. The nurse walked back in though after I did that.

"Sir. I'm going to have to ask you to step out of the room now. I will be right with you in a minute to explain what is going on," the nurse said to me.

I went to the lobby and sat down.

A few minutes later, I see Eddie and Gabby rushing into the hospital. I got up and walked twords them. Eddie grabbed me and pulled me into a tight hug. I hugged him back and started crying more.

"Have you heard anything about what happened?" Gabby asked.

"No. They keep sending me away from her and each time I ask a doctor or nurse what's wrong, they won't answer."

"That's some bullshit. They should know by now what's wrong and they should've told you." Eddie said getting upset.

I love that he's supportive no matter what it is. He's one of my closest best friends. Team gae, am I right? But seriously. I don't know what I would do without him. He's like a brother to me.

"I know Eddie. But I can't control the way they run this hospital." I said shaking my head.

As we were talking, a doctor came up to me.

"Are you Gaege Gibson?" The doctor asked.

"Yes, that's me," I answered. Im tired of asking the staff questions about her. Because everytime I do, I get shut out.

"Y/n is stable and awake. We ran some tests and she has a low blood sugar. We also found bruising and small damages to her body. And she also seems to have a concussion. What seems to be a concussion is what caused her to loose pulse. But we we're able to get her back and stable. Has anything major happened to her recently, Mr. Gibson?"

"Ummm.. I don't know if I should tell you, but her parents were very abusive, and she got away from them a week or so ago." I explained to the doctor.

"Okay. Well, she is stable now. You will be able to go see her. She'll be discharged today. Make sure she eats properly and gets enough sugar and vitamins and etc." The doctor explained.

The doctor walked away and I ran to
y/n's room.

When she saw me, her face lit up.
